There was some talk the Bears may trade down, but after the Fields trade, it’s’ a

no-brainer who the top selection will be. But after the first pick, that’s where the intrigue begins.

Who will go number two, or number three? Will a team trade up to snag the player they covet?

Washington, you’re on the clock.

Number 2 Overall Pick – Jayden Daniels -125

After trading last year’s starter Sam Howell to Seattle and letting backup Jacoby Brissett sign in

New England, there’s no doubt the Commanders will take a quarterback at number 2. But

which one? Jayden Daniels, who won the Heisman appears to be the front-runner to go second

overall. Where things could get interesting is if another team wants to trade up. The

Commanders could get a significant haul from a team looking to jump up, but then the question

would be if that team wants Daniels or Maye? Some experts are calling Daniels the ‘best

quarterback in the draft’ and with Williams all about certain to go to Chicago, whichever team

selects at number two, likely takes the LSU product.

Odds to be Number 2 Overall Pick

Jayden Daniels -125

Drake Maye +200

J.J. McCarthy +300

Caleb Williams +1600

Marvin Harrison Jr. +2000

Joe Alt +10000

Olumuyiwa Fashanu +10000

Michael Penix Jr, +10000

Bo Nix +10000

Rome Odunze +10000

Malik Nabers +10000

Brock Bowers +10000

Number 3 Overall Pick – Drake Maye -135

The Patriots are in an odd spot as they will likely take whichever quarterback falls to them at

number three. Daniels or Maye. After trading away Mac Jones, and bringing in veteran

Brissett, there’s no question New England will take a quarterback here. Maye has good size and

the arm strength and will fit in with the Patriots long term plan of grooming their next

quarterback. Even if another team wanted to move up into the top three, it’s highly unlikely they

wouldn’t take Maye at number three, assuming he’s available.

WORTH A SHOT

Number 3 Overall Pick – J.J. McCarthy +500

Slowly but surely, J.J. McCarthy has climbed up the draft board. His stock has risen since his

performance at the NFL Combine. There are some who believe he could go to the Patriots at

number three. After winning a national title, there seems to be more interest and excitement in

McCarthy. He could sneak into the top-3 and at +500 it may be worth taking a shot.

Odds to be Number 3 Overall Pick

Drake Maye -135

Jayden Daniels +240

J.J.
