The only exception, Jacksonville taking defensive standout Travon Walker out of Georgia

in 2022. And in the last quarter century, a quarterback or lineman has gone first in the last 24

drafts. So it’s no surprise quarterbacks lead the way for most likely to go number one in 2025

Carson Beck, Georgia Bulldogs (+375)

Carson Beck is favored to win the Heisman (+850) and that makes him the favorite to go first

overall. Georgia will once again compete for a title and that puts Beck in the national spotlight

for the season. He threw for nearly 4000 yards, 24 touchdowns and completed more than 72%

of his passes. Many felt if he was eligible in 2024, Beck would have been a top-15 pick.

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes (+600)

It’s no surprise Shedeur Sanders is one of the favorites to go first overall. After jumping from

Jackson State to Colorado with his father, Sanders has put Colorado on the college map,

despite a 4-8 season in 2023. Still, he’s talented and could see his stock rise with a better

season. Sanders threw for 3,230 yards and 31 total touchdowns, but the Buffaloes will now play

in a tougher conference, the Big 12. Watch for Sanders odds to get lower if he gets off to a

dazzling start.

Mykel Williams, Georgia Bulldogs (+800)

Georgia Edge Mykel Williams could shake up the draft if he puts together a dominant season.

He posted 13 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks in his first two years with the Bulldogs. WIlliams has

the potential for a breakout season and the former five-star recruit has it all. 6-foot-5, 265

pounds, and has the athleticism that makes NFL coaches drool. What will work against him,

only 3 pass-rushers have gone first overall in the last 11 years

DARK HORSE

Travis Hunter, Colorado Buffaloes (+1800)

Call him the Shohei Ohtani of college football. Travis Hunter plays both sides of the ball and at

an elite level to boot. Hunter caught 57 passes for 721 yards and five touchdowns in nine

games as a receiver. As a cornerback, he also had three interceptions and 30 tackles, two for

losses. It’s uncertain if he’ll pick just one position in the NFL but if a team gets him first overall,

they’ll essentially be getting a 2-for-1 type of player.

1st Overall Pick 2025 NFL Draft Odds

Carson Beck +375

Quinn Ewers +500

James Pearce +550

Shedeur Sanders +600

Mykel Williams +800

Drew Allar +1200

Travis Hunter +1800

Cam Ward +2000

Jalen Milroe +2500

Abdul Carter +2500

Garrett Nussmeier +2500

Jaxson Dart +2800

Patrick Payton +2800

Conner Weigman +2800

Harold Perkings +3300

J.T.
