Week 17 of the NFL schedule includes two games on Christmas Day and another on Thursday Night Football. All three have playoff implications, and every road team is a slight favorite. Kansas City (-2.5, O\/U 43) vs Pittsburgh<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chiefs have been humming along and will likely clinch the top spot at some point, either this week or next, so I can see them taking their foot off the gas, especially to avoid any injuries. The Steelers continue to be one of the best betting teams, having covered in 10 of 15 games, including 5-1 ATS at home. Pittsburgh is a tough place to play, typically low-scoring, and games that could come down to the final possession. The Steelers’ defense always rises to the occasion, and against the defending champs, they\u2019ll make enough plays late to pull off the upset and keep their division aspirations alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prop Play:<\/strong> Pat Freiermuth Over 30.5 Receiving Yards (-110)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With George Pickens expected to play, all the attention will be on him, which should free up Pat Freiermuth, who has had three catches in three straight games. He should get more opportunities down the middle and could see 5-6 targets in this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baltimore (-4, O\/U 46.5) vs Houston<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both teams seem to be dealing with injuries to their wide receiver positions, which could factor into the final score here. The Texans lost Tank Dell for the season, and with John Metchie III questionable, that leaves just Nico Collins and Robert Woods. The Ravens’ Zay Flowers missed practice on Sunday due to a shoulder issue, and his status is still unclear for this game. In recent weeks, both defenses are top-5 in opponent EPA per play, which means both teams could focus on running the ball with their star backs, eating up the clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With both teams dealing with receiving issues, the run game should be front and center in this game. Both teams have two of the best backs in the league, who love to run the ball. Joe Mixon should be a big part of the offensive plan, while Derrick Henry will do what “The King” does\u2014run the ball and pick up big chunks of yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seattle (-3.5, O\/U 43) vs Chicago<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite two straight losses, the Seahawks can still win the NFC West by winning their remaining two games. If they can get past the Bears, it\u2019ll set up a showdown against the Rams for the division crown in the final game of the schedule. Seattle is 5-1 on the road and faces a Chicago team in disarray. The Bears started 4-1 but have lost 9 straight, had a coaching change, and are now looking ahead to next season. Can they play spoiler? Perhaps, but the Seahawks have too much to play for and should be able to grind out a win. The big question is whether they can cover the 3.5-point spread. Chicago is known for scoring garbage-time points, so we\u2019ll say Seattle wins but the Bears get the backdoor cover with a late score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s been Caleb Williams’ favorite target of late, averaging 6 catches a game and five touchdowns over the past five weeks. He\u2019s been targeted 13 times in each of the last two games, so expect the same against the Seahawks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
