Shortly after the Seahawks announced they are cutting steady veteran Tyler Lockett, DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf, otherwise known as DK, asked to be traded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This seems to be more about getting a new contract with one year left on his current deal than leaving Seattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metcalf already signed a 3-year, $72 million extension in 2022, but has watched many receivers pass those numbers as he is now the 13th<\/sup>-highest paid receiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
