With their respective division crowns out of the question, both teams look for a win to improve their position in a jam-packed NFC Wildcard race.

The Rams are back at home after losing a defensive battle to the Pittsburgh Steelers, a loss that snapped a two-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Bears ended their four-game losing streak last Sunday by beating division rival Detroit Lions at Soldier Field. They’ll now look to win back-to-back games for the first time since the end of September.

Both teams are struggling at the quarterback position as both Mitchell Trubisky and Jared Goff have been shaky this season. Which of the two will deliver on Sunday?

CHICAGO BEARS AT LOS ANGELES RAMS
NFL ODDS: RAMS -7
NFL TOTAL: 41.5

WHY THE BEARS WILL COVER THE SPREAD

Despite coming off a win, there isn’t much positivity in the Windy City about its football team. Mitchell Trubisky is coming off a three-touchdown game last Sunday but nobody was fooled by that effort. The Bears hung on for dear life against the Detroit Lions, who were not only on the road but were forced to start backup quarterback Jeff Driskel. A win is still a win but in this case, it was mostly just enough to turn the volume down on the criticism for a week.

The Bears do have a shot here to string together back-to-back wins, though, as the Los Angeles Rams have been lousy this season. While the Bears have their own quarterback woes, Rams signal caller Jared Goff has just 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions this season. Goff went 22-for-41 for 243 yards last week with no touchdowns, two picks and a 51.2 QB rating while getting sacked four times. Receiver Cooper Kupp was held off the stat sheet and Todd Gurley ran for a modest 73 yards on 12 carries.

The Bears ninth-ranked defense should be licking their chops here. The Rams offensive line has been a complete mess this year, which could lead to a big game for Khalil Mack.

WHY THE RAMS WILL COVER THE SPREAD

Just like the Bears, the Rams will rely on its defense to lead the charge. Ranked 11th in the NFL, LA’s defense scored nine points against the Steelers and were the only reason the Rams had a shot to win last week. They might have to lead the way once again.

The Bears offense ranks 29th in the league and will have a tough time against Aaron Donald and friends. Trubisky has struggled all year, throwing only eight touchdowns in 8 starts – three of which came last week. The Bears put up an average of only 18 points per game, so the Rams defense should be able to keep this close.

TAKING A LOOK AT THE TOTAL

All signs are pointing to the under. With two of the top defenses going head-to-head and two offenses that are struggling mightily, points will be at a premium in this spot. The key here will be which team can manage to avoid the turnovers as that’s likely to be the difference in this spot.

PICK: LOS ANGELES RAMS 17, CHICAGO BEARS 10

Get the latest NFL football odds and information–follow BetOnline.ag on Twitter!

BetOnline.ag on Instagram–Follow for the latest odds, stats and information!

The Chicago Bears travel to the City of Angels to clash with the Los Angeles Rams on this week’s Sunday…

[129

post-7548","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl
["GET
