Home underdogs fared\nvery well in Week 12 of the NFL season. After a dismal performance in\nWeek 11, home dogs went 3-1 ATS against the closing NFL\nbetting odds<\/a> last week with all three Sunday\nselections cashing. The New York Jets and Washington Redskins pulled\noff outright upsets over the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions, while\nCincinnati kept it within the number at home despite losing to\nPittsburgh. The lone loss was on Monday night, as the Los Angeles\nRams were run out of their building by Lamar Jackson and the\nBaltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There a whopping\nnine home underdogs this week per the NFL betting odds, so there are\nplenty of chances for home teams to pull off the upset on\nThanksgiving weekend. Six of those teams are underdogs by a field\ngoal or less, so this could be a week to bet parlays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NFL WEEK 13 BETTING ODDS<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

DETROIT LIONS +3 OVER CHICAGO BEARS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Lions\u2019\nquarterback situation is dire. Matt Stafford is likely out for the\nrest of the season with broken bones in his back, and backup Jeff\nDriskel might not be ready to play on Thursday afternoon either.\nDriskel is dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of\npractice on Monday, and he is considered a game-time decision. If he\nis unable to play, undrafted rookie David Blough will get the start. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driskel has been\nsomewhat effective moving the ball, so he is key to an upset bid.\nChicago\u2019s quarterback situation is key in that regard too as\nMitchell Trubisky has been abysmal this year. Trubisky has completed\njust 61.5 percent of his passes and is averaging 5.5 YPA on the road.\nThe Lions probably should have pulled off the upset against the Bears\ntwo weeks ago after outgaining their opponent by 131 total yards in\nSoldier Field, so don\u2019t be surprised to see it happen this time.\nDetorit is a live dog per the NFL\nmoneyline odds<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ATLANTA FALCONS +7 OVER NEW ORLEANS SAINTS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of recent\nupsets between division rivals, Atlanta went on the road and hammered\nNew Orleans that same week. The Falcons outclassed the Saints in a\n26-9 win, spoiling Drew Brees\u2019 second game back in the Big Easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atlanta might not\nhave Julio Jones available for Thursday night\u2019s game, and that\nwould be a huge setback, but the Falcons have had some nice success\nthrough the air recently with Calvin Ridley. Ridley has 14 receptions\nfor 228 yards in Atlanta\u2019s last two games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW YORK GIANTS +6 OVER GREEN BAY PACKERS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Giants have lost seven straight games, but Daniel Jones\u2019 play continues to be lauded. Danny Dimes has thrown twice as many touchdowns as interceptions despite having one of the most shallow receiving corps in the league, and Green Bay is reeling after a gut-wrenching loss in San Francisco last Sunday. It\u2019s not easy to travel from coast to coast in subsequent weeks, so Green Bay could have some fatigue this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MIAMI DOLPHINS +9 OVER PHILADELPHIA EAGLES<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not much of a surprise to see Miami as the biggest home underdog in Week 13<\/a>. The Dolphins have fallen back down to Earth after winning back-to-back games over the Jets and Colts at the start of the month, losing by 17 points to the Bills and Browns in consecutive weeks. This defense has been abysmal, but Philadelphia has not looked sharp on offense in two straight weeks, scoring just 19 points in that stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CINCINNATI BENGALS +3 OVER NEW YORK JETS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Zac Taylor has made\nthe decision to go with Andy Dalton over Ryan Finley once more, and\nthat bodes well for the Bengals. Dalton is a much better quarterback\nthan Finley, and his play nearly led to the Bengals pulling off a few\nupsets earlier in the year. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jets have won\nthree straight games, so they are in the rare position of being a\nroad favorite per the NFL\nbetting odds<\/a>. Sam Darnold has played well in recent\nweeks to help Gang Green turn things around, but the wins haven\u2019t\nbeen too inspiring. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PITTSBURGH STEELERS +2 OVER CLEVELAND BROWNS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Mason Rudolph won\u2019t\nbe starting under center for Pittsburgh against Cleveland, but\ntensions will be high on Sunday nonetheless. The brouhaha that\nunfolded between these two bitter rivals only happened a few weeks\nago, and there will be some lingering bad blood. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devlin Hodges will\nbe out to lead the Steelers to a win over Cleveland, and the\nundrafted rookie can sling it. Hodges left Samford as the all-time\nleading passer in the history of the FCS, and he has played well in\nlimited action. He gives Pittsburgh a chance of sending its fans home\nhappy, so a moneyline\nbet<\/a> on Pittsburgh might be in order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARIZONA CARDINALS +3 OVER LOS ANGELES RAMS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Rams need a win in the worst way, but this offense is reeling. Los Angeles has not been able to do much on the ground this year, and that has made everything worse on this side of the ball. Arizona has had two weeks to get ready for this game and has improved from where this team was at the start of the year, so don\u2019t be surprised to see an upset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DENVER BRONCOS +2.5 OVER LOS ANGELES CHARGERS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Denver might start its third different quarterback against Los Angeles this week. Drew Lock is healthy and ready to come off injured reserve, and he is likely a better option than Brandon Allen going forward. Lock would love to get some seasoning before the end of the season, so it\u2019s only a matter of time before Vic Fangio sends him into action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HOUSTON TEXANS +3 OVER NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We can\u2019t blame you if you don\u2019t want to bet against the Patriots. New England is too good and too disciplined, but this team has not been the invincible Patriots of old in 2019. Deshaun Watson can create some magic a la Lamar Jackson to give the Texans a crucial win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
