Is there a more Jekyll-Hyde quarterback than Jameis Winston? The man who has thrown the most interceptions in the NFL this season \u2013 seven more than the second-place contender \u2013 is now favored to lead the NFL in passing yards this season. He\u2019s just seven yards off the pace set by Dak Prescott but Winston has been on a tear of late and is projected to finish with the most. Is he a good bet to do so? Let\u2019s take a closer look:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Winston is one of the most enigmatic quarterbacks in the NFL. After throwing an interception on his first drive last week and later tossing a pick-six, Winston still ended up throwing for 456 passing yards in Tampa Bay\u2019s win over Indianapolis last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In terms of this prop specifically, he\u2019s averaged 343 passing yards per game over his last eight games. If he keeps up that pace, he should finish as the league-leader. Keep in mind that he now has a hairline fracture in the thumb on his throwing hand and his top target, Mike Evans, is now out for the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prescott is the current leader in the clubhouse, although he only leads by seven yards. He\u2019s been outstanding this season \u2013 even as the Dallas Cowboys have self-destructed of late. Dallas has lost three straight and seven of 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cowboys usually rely on Ezekiel Elliott but he\u2019s been just OK this year and the offense has flowed through Prescott. Over his last five games, he\u2019s averaging 348.4 passing yards per game. He\u2019ll play the Los Angeles Rams this week but with matchups against the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins in Week 16 and 17, he\u2019s in good shape to rack up the yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback has been much maligned this year but he\u2019s been slinging it of late. Since his forgettable four-interception game against the Kansas City Chiefs a few weeks ago, Rivers has 579 yards passing, five touchdowns and a pick in his last two games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chargers are one of the worst rushing teams in the NFL, so you know he\u2019ll have to air it out the rest of the season. The challenge for him is that he\u2019s 374 yards behind Prescott right now, so he has a long way to go to close that gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Goff is another quarterback who has a lot of ground to gain. He\u2019s 410 yards behind Prescott right now, which means he\u2019ll really have to crank it up the last few weeks if he\u2019s to outpace the three guys in front of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Goff has been heavily criticized this season but he\u2019s coming off back-to-back strong games after blowing out both the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks. He totaled 717 passing yards in those two contests and he\u2019ll have to push for around 400 if he\u2019s to surpass everyone else. He\u2019ll face the Dallas Cowboys this week and the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17 (they allow the most passing yards per game) but he\u2019ll also have a game versus the elite San Francisco 49ers defense in Week 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
