With the New Year comes a new team, or at least a star or two. We continue on with my first mock draft of the offseason with Picks 11-15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. NEW YORK JETS \u2013 TYLER BIADASZ, OL, WISCONSIN<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-3, 321)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This might be a little high for a center\/interior lineman, but with pass rushers coming from every angle now, there\u2019s no reason to undervalue a guy in the middle. The Jets have one of the worst offensive lines in the league and that spells disaster as you\u2019re developing a young quarterback. You can\u2019t screw around here when you can get the centerpiece of your offensive line set for the next eight years by turning in a card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. OAKLAND RAIDERS – CEEDEE LAMB, WR, OKLAHOMA<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-2, 189) 2019: 62 catches, 1,327 yards, 14 touchdowns, one rushing TD<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s funny that the Raiders will now have to use all this draft capital they\u2019ve accumulated via trading away a star wide receiver and pass rusher to actually pick wide receivers and pass rushers. It\u2019s like if they\u2019d just worked out contracts with the guys they already had, picks they\u2019d aced, if you will, they\u2019d be in fine shape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is what $100 million Jon Gruden gets you. The Raiders could go with Derrick Brown from Auburn or Javon Kinlaw from South Carolina here, but Gruden is an offensive guy. He\u2019ll want a wideout and I think he\u2019s going to stick with Derek Carr at QB. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS \u2013 JUSTIN HERBET, QB, OREGON<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-6, 237) 2019: 66.8 completion percentage, 3,471 yards, 32 touchdowns, six interceptions, four rushing touchdowns<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every pundit in America will try to talk the Colts out of taking a quarterback this high and every single one of them is wrong. QB is the single biggest glaring need on a decent roster and with Jacoby Brissett still under contract for a season, they can work Herbet in slow. Frank Reich did a great job getting the most out of both Carson Wentz and Nick Foles. He\u2019s done the same with Brissett, but that\u2019s topped out. It\u2019s time to draft the QB of the future and a year a go Herbert was seen as a Top Five pick. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

14. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS \u2013 JACOB EASON, QB, WASHINGTON<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-6, 227) 2019: 64.2 completion percentage, 3,132 yards, 23 touchdowns, eight interceptions<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t see any excuse the Buccaneers can reasonably use, especially after the final play of the season, to keep Jameis Winston on the team, let alone use the franchise tag to do so. It\u2019s time to start over and, for the first time, Bruce Arians will get to pick the guy that he wants out of college unless he decides to pull Joe Flacco or Nick Foles off the upcoming scrap heap and roll with them. I like Jake Fromm better than Eason, but the guy Fromm beat out at Georgia seems to be higher on most draft boards so I\u2019m slotting him here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

15. DENVER BRONCOS \u2013 DERRICK BROWN, DL, AUBURN<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-5, 318) 2019: 54 tackles, 11.5 for a loss, four sacks, four passes defended, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first interior defensive lineman comes off the board as the Broncos roll the dice and figure they actually have a quarterback. If I\u2019m Denver, I still pull the trigger on a passer later in the draft to be safe, but there\u2019s no reason to pretend their eyes have deceived them on Drew Lock late in the season. A corner would make a lot of sense too or they could like Kinlaw better. There are good arguments for either guy, but the Broncos can\u2019t go wrong bolstering their D-Line here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
