We\u2019re closing in on the final teams that will likely not be in these spots before the weekend\u2019s out. Picking at the bottom of the draft is the toughest part of the mock process. Not only because you\u2019re 25 picks in and your board could go haywire with just one off pick, but these teams picking 26-on are pretty good. They don\u2019t have a lot of needs and what they usually want is inexpensive depth, which means they\u2019re looking to trade out of the first round altogether. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, as I said in Part 1, I can\u2019t factor in trades. It\u2019s a waste of time. So we roll with what we have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

26. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS \u2013 JULIAN OKWARA, DL, NOTRE DAME<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-4, 248) 2019: 19 takcles, seven for a loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okwara missed games at the end of the season with a fractured left fibula, but all that did was make sure the rest of his body was healthy enough to get drafted come April. He should be healed up and ready to go come the combine and this is one of the rare instances where the Seahawks will turn in a first round card instead of trading their pick away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

27. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS \u2013 JAKE FROMM, QB, GEORGIA<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

6-2, 220) 2019: 60.8 completion percentage, 2,860 yards, 24 touchdowns, five interceptions<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe Jarrett Stidham is the heir apparent to Tom Brady, but Bill Belichick, unless he retires, can\u2019t take any chances. Fromm is a first round talent who\u2019s been overlooked as the draft approaches because the QB class is so top-heavy. The Patriots can\u2019t afford to enter 2020 without multiple legitimate quarterback options. This might be it for Brady and, even if it isn\u2019t, the team might not wan to pay the future Hall of Famer what he wants to keep him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

28. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS \u2013 KENNETH MURRAY, LB, OKLAHOMA<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-2, 234) 2019: 102 tackles, 17 for a loss, four sacks, four passes defended<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chiefs remain loaded on offense, even though they could use a good upgrade at running back. What they really need is defense and Murray is the best defender left on the board. He\u2019s a tackling machine with Bobby Wagner potential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

29. GREEN BAY PACKERS \u2013 BRYCEN HOPKINS, TE, PURDUE<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-5, 245) 2019: 61 catches, 830 yards, seven touchdowns<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Packers have tried to add a playmaking tight end in free agency every season to no avail. It\u2019s time to pick one in the draft and Hopkins is the top guy on everybody\u2019s board. Is it a reach here? Only if you count a guy that would go no lower than No. 35 in round two a reach at 29. And, frankly, if the Pack doesn\u2019t select him the Saints will. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

30. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS \u2013 LAVISKA SHENAULT JR., WR, COLORADO<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(6-2, 220) 2019: 56 catches, 764 yards, four touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Saints have been fielding Fudrucker\u2019s Grillmasters and Subway Sandwich Artists alongside Michael Thomas long enough. They could plunk down some cash in free agency to address that, and they should, but Shenault makes a lot of sense here. He\u2019s a big target and has a similar body type to Thomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
