It’s estimated that 78 percent of tickets were on the Seahawks as a short underdog against the Eagles in Philadelphia, and this was the most bet game of Wild Card Weekend considering it was the final playoff game of the opening round. Bettors made back the money they lost on public teams like New England and New Orleans, as Seattle saw more action than any other playoff team in over a decade.

Under Review Show – The Aftermath Divisional Playoff Edition

It wasn’t a great week for the Under Review Show either, as two of the three Triple Teaseburger legs lost. Tennessee’s touchdown in the closing seconds of its win over New England made the Patriots portion of the teaser a loser, and New Orleans lost outright to Minnesota on Sunday to blow everything to smithereens. After a losing Teaseburger in Week 17, it’s back to the drawing board for the Under Review team, but they are locked in for the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

The most puzzling line of the week is San Francisco -7 at home against Minnesota, so the Under Review hosts removed that game from consideration immediately. While the hosts like San Francisco as the right side, they have opted to demur after the Vikings went into New Orleans and beat the Saints last week, so they will be using the other three games in this week’s Triple Teaseburger

Green Bay is the first pick on the board. After declining to bet on Seattle-Philadelphia last week, our hosts are ready to fade Seattle once again. The Packers are the shortest favorite of the week at BetOnline, favored by just four points over the Seahawks at Lambeau Field.

Seattle was rather fortunate to get past Philadelphia in the Wild Card Round. Carson Wentz was knocked out of the game in the first quarter with a concussion, but the Seahawks couldn’t put the Eagles away even though they were facing long-time backup Josh McCown. The Seahawks went 11-5 this year, but they are one of the most overrated teams in the league if you look at advanced metrics, as this team finished with a +7 point differential in the regular season.

The Packers can run the ball to take the pressure off Aaron Rodgers, and Allen Lazard appears to be the complement to Davante Adams that Green Bay has wanted for the last few years. Seattle’s secondary is arguably the worst of the eight teams left in the playoffs, so teasing Green Bay across zero to +3 is the play.

The other two legs fall in line with the common logic regarding teasers. The best teasers to make are on lines between 7.5 and 9.5 since you cross so many key numbers, and our hosts are jumping at the chance to cross multiple key numbers in both AFC Divisional Round games.

Baltimore is -9.5 at BetOnline against Tennessee this Saturday night. The Ravens have been the best team in the NFL all season, and they have had two weeks to prepare for this game. That has allowed Mark Ingram to recover from an injury he suffered in Week 16, while Tennessee’s Derrick Henry is certainly banged up after a heavy workload in the Titans’ victory over New England.

Ryan Tannehill didn’t do much through the air against New England, and it’s hard to imagine he’ll have much success against a secondary that includes three Pro Bowlers in Marlon Humphrey, Marcus Peters, and Earl Thomas III. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson has been unstoppable since early October, and he has thrown just one interception in his last 10 games. It will be hard for the Ravens to lose if Jackson maintains his MVP form.

The Chiefs are an even bigger favorite against the Texans. Kansas City is laying 9.5 points at BetOnline too, but the Chiefs are a bigger moneyline favorite than the Ravens. Kansas City put its midseason woes in the rear view mirror over the last few weeks, and the oddsmakers don’t believe that Houston will upset Kansas City in Arrowhead Stadium for the second time this season on Sunday.

Teasing Kansas City brings the line down to a savory Chiefs -2.5, and it’s hard not to like the value there. Two of Houston’s three best cornerbacks aren’t at 100 percent, and this run defense ranks in the bottom five in the NFL in terms of YPC.

As always, you can get in on the action at BetOnline by using the promo code ‘Review’ to earn an extra $25 on your deposit.

THE UNDER REVIEW SHOW–THE AFTERMATH DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF EDITION

Get the latest NFL football odds and information–follow BetOnline.ag on Twitter!

BetOnline.ag on Instagram–Follow for the latest odds, stats and information!

Wild Card Weekend was brutal for both the sportsbooks and the Under Review crew.
