You can bet on virtually everything once the broadcast gets underway at 6 p.m. ET on February 2, 2020. There are props for the national anthem, props for what we will see and when we will see it during the commercial breaks, and props on the halftime show starring Shakira and Jennifer Lopez too. You\u2019ll find hundreds of player props to wager on as well, and that\u2019s the topic for the Under Review Show<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Super Bowl 54 Prop Bet-Stravaganza<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There are\ncurrently over 600 prop bets available for Super Bowl LIV at\nBetOnline<\/a>,\nand the sportsbook\u2019s head oddsmaker Adam Burns is on this week\u2019s\nshow to discuss them. One of the first things that Burns mentions is\nthe shift in the total for this game. The over\/under opened at 51,\nand it has already risen to 54 with over 90 percent of the money on\nthe over. That\u2019s some of the most lopsided action we have ever seen\nin the Big Game, and there is a chance that Super Bowl LIV could have\nthe highest over\/under in Super Bowl history. Super Bowl LI between\nNew England and Atlanta currently holds that distinction with a total\nof 57.5 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burns also\ntouches on what BetOnline is rooting for on Super Bowl Sunday, and\nit\u2019s no surprise the sportsbook is hoping for a San Francisco\nupset. More than 60 percent of wagers thus far have been on Kansas\nCity, and the Chiefs were a popular play in futures markets. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the\nsillier bets you can make for the Super Bowl is on the coin toss.\nIt\u2019s rather maddening that people bet on something you can\u2019t\nhandicap, but betting on the coin toss is one of the more popular\nbets to make every year. Burns notes that the coin has landed on\ntails slightly more often than heads (28 to 25), but heads has always\nbeen the favored pick among bettors. There has been more action on\nheads than tails again in the run-up to Super Bowl LIV, so the\nsportsbooks are hoping to see tails hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prop bets have\nbecome an increasingly popular way to bet\nthe Super Bowl<\/a> over the years. Burns states that when\nhe started, prop bets were responsible for five percent of the\nhandle, but up to a third of all Super Bowl wagers are now on prop\nbets. There has also been an explosion in the live\nbetting<\/a> market, as bettors look to double down on a\npick during a commercial break or hedge their bets if they aren\u2019t\noptimistic about the state of the game. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nWe will also see an expansion of live betting options in this year\u2019s\nSuper Bowl. BetOnline plans to offer live betting on the Super Bowl\nMVP with odds updating during the commercial break, and there will\nalso be updated odds on who the Super Bowl MVP will thank first after\nthe game too. Additionally, there are going to be even more Super\nBowl props available to wager on next week as storylines emerge. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
