Now it’s time to roll through Nos. 3 and 4 as we sift through the available free agent wide receivers of the 2020 offseason.

3. JOSH GORDON, UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT

2019: 27 catches, 426 yards, one touchdown

Gordon is, of course, currently under indefinite suspension, but since those never really last for any athlete other than Pete Rose, he should end up with another shot this season. Whether he can make the most of it, and the NFL loses its draconian and downright stupid prohibition of marijuana, who can say? My guess is the new collective bargaining agreement will remove the pot ban completely.

Of course, Gordon was hit with positive PED test too, but who even knows what that was? It could have just been a masking agent, trying to cover up the THC.

Regardless, Gordon will likely have the opportunity to revive his incredibly odd career somewhere, either four or eight games into the season.

Where he should end up: Chicago Bears

No one in the NFL needs a dad as a head coach more than Gordon, but there’s just no space on teams with said dad coaches, or he’s already been suspended or cut from teams with those paternal head guys (the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks). If I’m the Seahawks, I look hard at bringing him back, but the Bears should be desperate for elite wide receiver help. This is a make or break year for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and Gordon could be the difference in an NFC North championship and a Top 10 pick in the draft.

4. EMMANUEL SANDERS, UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT

2019: 66 catches, 869 yards, five touchdowns

Sanders came over to the San Francisco 49ers in a deadline trade from the Denver Broncos and was a key reason they were able to take the NFC West and make it to the Super Bowl. Sanders is a solid No. 2 receiver that was forced to take the role as a No. 1 on a Niners team that just didn’t have that guy on the roster. They need to look to fix that in the offseason, probably in the draft.

Sanders is a good, productive player that’s smart enough to pick up an offense in a hurry. He won’t be a gamechanger for any team, but he’d automatically be an upgrade over plenty of No. 2 outside wideouts.

Where he should end up: San Francisco 49ers

Sanders and Kendrick Bourne were two of San Francisco’s three starting receivers this season and both are free agents. They could lose one, but can’t afford to lose both. They should actively try to lose neither. Keeping Sanders is a classic “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” solution to the Niner’s wide receiver issues. Yes, they need a gamebreaker and should aim for one in April’s draft, but they can’t take any chances with what they already have (or did have) on the roster.

We move on to Nos. 5-7 in Part 3.

10 BEST WIDE RECEIVERS HITTING THE MARKET THIS OFFSEASON PART 1
10 BEST WIDE RECEIVERS HITTING THE MARKET THIS OFFSEASON PART 3
10 BEST WIDE RECEIVERS HITTING THE MARKET THIS OFFSEASON PART 4

Get the latest NFL football odds and information–follow BetOnline.ag on Twitter!

BetOnline.ag on Instagram–Follow for the latest odds, stats and information!

BY ADAM GREENE We’ve already placed our top two available wide receivers with their best fits (one old and one…

[129

post-8979","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl
["GET
