RANDALL COBB, UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT

2019: 55 catches, 828 yards, three touchdowns

Cobb was brought in to hold down the
slot in Dallas this season and performed as advertised, putting up
his best numbers since 2015 with Dak Prescott tossing him the ball.

The former Green Bay Packer got a
one-year prove it deal with the Cowboys and seems to have done just
that. He probably won’t be as cheap this year and no team will be
looking at him as a one-year option.

Where he should end up: Dallas
Cowboys

This one is easy. Like Sanders, you
don’t mess with a good thing and Cobb fit the spot Dallas needed.
More than that, Mike McCarthy drafted him out of Kentucky back in
2011 and there should be no issues with working out a deal to keep
him from breaking his condo lease in Arlington.

6. A lingering shin injury didn’t help.

Agholor is just 26 and there’s no
reason to think he can’t bounce back with a nice change of scenery.
Agholor’s speed alone (he ran a 4.39 40) should keep him on plenty
of teams’ radars and he’ll likely get a good look from any squad
looking to stretch the field and land a guy that has not yet reached
his full potential.

Where he should end up: New
England Patriots

Receiver was an issue all year for
the Patriots after they cut Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon and they
never really solved it. If Tom Brady is coming back (and it’s about
60-40 at this point), they’ll need somebody that can catch one of
his NFL-mandated fully-inflated footballs 20 yards down the field.
And even if Brady ends up in Los Angeles, they’ll still need
somebody who can run a go route without taking a break before his cut
to massage a stitch in his side.

7. DEVIN FUNCHESS, UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT

2019: Three catches, 32 yards

A fractured clavicle in the season’s
opening game cost Funchess his one season with the Indianapolis
Colts, a team that could have really used his ability to get open in
traffic and move the chains.

Funchess never was a No. 1 with the
Carolina Panthers, as much as the team needed him to be one. He was a
good possession receiver, an Anquan Boldin type, who averaged a first
down every time he touched the ball. Even his three catches in his
single game with the Colts came with a 10.7 yard average.

A smart playcaller would run
Funchess in the slot, use him like a tight end half the time and let
him eat up linebackers in the red zone.

Where he should end up: Denver
Broncos

Outside of Courtland Sutton, the
Broncos were garbage at wide receiver in 2019.
