We’re not quite sure as the legendary quarterback is finally a free agent for the first time in his career. This week, reports surfaced that the Las Vegas Raiders are set to make a strong push for him but is that where he’ll actually land? Let’s take a closer look at the betting odds for his landing spots:

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: +300

It is true that the Raiders do not seem immediately ready to contend for a Super Bowl. However, look at the San Francisco 49ers, who were 4-12 a year ago and then went 13-3, a nine-game turnaround which led to a Super Bowl appearance. This has happened before and it can happen again. It is clear that Brady, if healthy, is still a better quarterback than the inconsistent Derek Carr, who has never fully settled into a comfortable place as the quarterback of the Raiders. And the Raiders do have a decent cast with Josh Jacobs at running back, Darren Waller at tight end and Tyrell Williams at wideout. They also have a strong offensive line. With a move to a new city, Brady would immediately become the face of the franchise.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS: +400

Tom Brady’s most logical non-New England spot is right here in Los Angeles with the Chargers. The Bolts were a playoff team two seasons ago and they even won the wild card game against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. He knows this team has the defense which can get to the playoffs. Beyond that, the platform and the moneymaking opportunities in Los Angeles are immense.

The problem this past season was the offense, which had Melvin Gordon hold out for several weeks, and was also dogged by Philip Rivers struggling as he nears the end of his career. Brady could certainly look at everything on the table in front of him and decide that the Chargers are the best place to land. He would have a good defense supporting him, akin to what he had this past season with New England. The Chargers could realistically compete for the Super Bowl.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: +700

It is a lot harder to envision Brady going to the Bucs, given that this team has a lot of roster flaws outside of just quarterback. This is not a ready-to-win situation. However, the Bucs do have very strong receivers, which would have to at least give Brady reason to consider this move. Also, Bruce Arians is a very good quarterback coach who is experienced at working with veteran players and helping them polish their games. Also, there is the simple fact that the Bucs have not yet made a long-term commitment to Jameis Winston. If they let him go, Brady would have the job if he wanted it.

CAROLINA PANTHERS: +900

It is unclear what the Carolina Panthers want to do with Cam Newton. The man brought the Panthers a Super Bowl appearance but has been pounded by injuries to the point where some are questioning how much durability Newton possesses. Is this a fully broken quarterback or someone who still has two or three good years left? If Carolina gives up on him, Brady could step in, but again, only if he wants to go there. Would he? It’s doubtful.

DALLAS COWBOYS: +900

This was a popular rumor early on when it looked like Josh McDaniels might be the head coach of the team. If he had left New England, he might have made a push to bring Brady. Instead, the Cowboys hired Mike McCarthy and can still control quarterback Dak Prescott. This seems like a dead end for sure.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: +900

This is an intriguing option. The Colts were Brady’s foremost AFC rival during the Peyton Manning years. Now they are looking for their next franchise quarter after Andrew Luck’s retirement. Frank Reich is a brilliant offensive mind, so Brady wouldn’t mind that. He also wouldn’t mind playing in a dome instead of a harsh New England winter. However, the Colts were a central rival. Would Brady really want to go there?

Get the latest NFL football odds and information–follow BetOnline.ag on Twitter!

BetOnline.ag on Instagram–Follow for the latest odds, stats and information!

Is Tom Brady staying in New England or not?
