One of these guys, mark him
off your list. Just do it. The rest are good.

3. GRAHAM GLASGOW, GUARD/CENTER, UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT

6-5,
310 pounds, 27 years old, PFF Grade: 74.1

Glasgow
has toiled away in Detroit since being drafted in the third round of
the 2016 NFL draft out of Michigan. Yep. He’s played in that
general area for the last eight years and not once been able to
safely drink water from the tap.

Glasgow
has started 58 out of a possible 64 games in his career and played in
62, so he’s been healthy and effective for a long time, even when
you can’t say the same for the team which he plays.

Where
he should end up: Washington Redskins

If
the Skins let Scherff walk, they’ll need to replace him and Glasgow
fits the bill. With Ron Rivera taking over in Washington, their
fortunes will be on the upswing and in a division that just added
Mike McCarthy as a head coach, this could be an NFC East dynasty in
the making.

4. CONNOR MCGOVERN, CENTER, UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT

6-4,
306 pounds, 26 years old, PFF Grade: 71.9

McGovern
earned his way in the Broncos’ starting line up with five games in
his second season and has been there ever since, starting 31 games
over the 2018-19 campaigns.

The
Broncos would certainly like to bring McGovern back and should be
buzzing his agent’s phone every day before free agency hits, but
it’s likely the former fifth rounder out of Missouri will get a
chance to see what he’s worth on the open market.

Where
he should end up: Los Angeles Rams

The
biggest issue that kept the Rams out of the playoffs this season was
the collapse of their offensive line. In spite of that, they still
finished with a winning record and were the only team over .500 that
didn’t make the postseason. McGovern would be a significant upgrade
over Austin Blythe, who is also a free agent. General Manager Les
Snead has made the numbers work before and getting McGovern signed up
should be a high priority once free agency hits.

5. MATT SKURA, CENTER, RESTRICTED FREE AGENT

6-3,
313 pounds, 26 years old, PFF Grade: 68.7

Like
McGovern, Skura had to earn his job on the Ravens through hard work
and development after the team signed him as an undrafted free agent
in 2016 out of Duke.

He
took over as a full time starter in 2017, playing in 12 games and
started every game until he hurt his knee in the 11th game
of 2019, finishing up on injured reserve.

Where
he should end up: Baltimore Ravens

As a
restricted free agent, the Ravens still hold all the cards and
instead of lowballing Skura with a tender offer, they should go ahead
and sign him up for the next four years. For their offense to work,
they need an elite offensive line and you can’t go removing pieces
now when you could conceivably make a Super Bowl run for the next
five years.

6. RICHIE INCOGNITO, GUARD, UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT

6-3,
325 pounds, 36 years old, PFF Grade: 74.0

Hey.
Don’t do it. I don’t care how he graded out. I don’t care that
in a year when everything seemed to go nuts with the Oakland Raiders,
Incognito wasn’t a problem. Stay away.

This
guy opened the season on a two-game
suspension for threatening to shoot up a funeral home,
cut off his dead father’s head and being cited for domestic
violence over an 2018 altercation with his 90-year-old grandmother. I
don’t care that he’s good. I don’t care that he can obviously
still play at a high level. Don’t even think about it.

Where
he should end up: In a psych ward, extended cognitive behavioral
therapy, thoroughly medicated and not in the NFL

Seriously.
