Eric wagered on Wilder at
-125 at BetOnline, and he felt good as more money came
in on the current champion. The line closed at around -140 for
Wilder, so he was on the right side of the line movement. Meanwhile D
bet on Wilder to win by knockout in the seventh, eighth, or ninth
round at +450 and wagered on him to win by knockout in each of those
individual rounds at 14-1 too.

As we all know,
all those bets ended up losing as Fury took over after a relatively
even first round. Wilder was clearly dazed after his ear was busted
up, and he did not have the same power or mobility for the next six
rounds. He was well behind on all the scorecards, and it appeared
that he was in real trouble before his corner made the decision to
throw in the towel.

Wilder has
indicated that he will trigger the provision in his contract that
allows for a rematch. That means we will almost certainly see Fury
and Wilder square off for the third time later this year, but Fury is
a moderate favorite this time. He is currently -215
against Wilder at BetOnline, but don’t be surprised
to see that number fall whenever a date is announced for the bout.
Many will jump on the chance to bet Wilder at +185, and that will
cause the line to come down.

There is also
speculation that Fury will fight Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight
unification fight. There are plenty of hurdles to clear to get those
two in the ring, but we already have betting odds for a potential
match-up between Fury and Joshua. Fury
is -150 in a hypothetical fight with Joshua, but that
line is highly influenced by the most recent result. We’re likely
to see those odds even out over the coming months if those two are
really going to meet in the ring.

Joshua suffered a stunning loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. last June, but he
won back his WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight belts in Saudi Arabia
two months ago. He pummeled Ruiz throughout all 12 rounds to win a
unanimous decision, showcasing why many consider him the best fighter
in the heavyweight division. Joshua has been seen as the cream of the
heavyweight division since shortly after winning gold at the 2012
Summer Olympics in London, and the loss to Ruiz seems to have
refocused him.

As always, you
can get in on the action at BetOnline
by using the promo code ‘Review’ to earn an extra $25 on your
deposit.

THE UNDER REVIEW SHOW–THE FURY V.
