Open Face Jackpot Windfalls

Pineapple Open Face Chinese Poker Now Available!

Experience the exciting game of Pineapple Open Face Chinese Poker (OFC), a dynamic variant of the classic game that you can now play at BetOnline. Embraced by both casual players and featured on our Windfalls tournament section, we are proud to announce the first Jackpot Sit & Go version of Open Face Chinese Poker.

This electrifying game challenges you to craft a 13-card hand split into three distinct rows. Your mission? Assemble three unique hands featuring a top trio of cards, a middle set of five, and a bottom collection of five. In this points-driven game, bid farewell to chips and embrace the thrill of earning points based on an ingenious scoring system. This system closely follows the hierarchy of poker hands found in Texas Hold'em and Omaha poker, keeping you on the edge of your seat.

RULES & SCORING

The primary difference between Pineapple OFC and standard OFC is the number of cards given to each player after the initial deal. Both games start with five cards dealt all at once on the initial deal but in Pineapple players are then dealt three cards for every subsequent deal with the option to discard one.

What is the ultimate goal?

To arrange 13 cards into an adrenaline-pumping 5+5+3 configuration. Collect points as you fashion hands in each row, and may the player with the most points emerge victorious in this riveting OFC poker showdown.

  • The top hand consists of 3 cards and is intended to be the least strong among the three hands.
  • The middle hand comprises five cards and must surpass the strength of the first hand.
  • The bottom hand also encompasses five cards and needs to outshine both the middle and top hands in terms of strength.

Beware the foul! If you bust you must face the daunting consequence of a "dead hand", resulting in a loss of points across all three rows. The challenge intensifies as cards are distributed in rounds, leaving you eagerly anticipating each draw.

Basic Rules of Open Face Chinese Poker

The game is played between 3 players in a Windfall format with a Jackpot prize pool. A Dealer button ignites the action, prompting clockwise momentum around the table. After a round, the Dealer button moves clockwise like in Hold'em and Omaha.

Here's where the magic begins: Your initial five cards set the stage for your masterpiece. But that's not the end—brace yourself for five rounds of suspense, each accompanied by a trio of drawn cards. Employ your cunning as you integrate two new cards into your hand and discard one away.

Stay the course through five riveting rounds, with each draw bringing you closer to your final 13-card. Once all hands are shaped, the ultimate reckoning commences. Compare your crafted rows with those of your competitors, calculating points and tallying scores.

As levels go up, points become more valuable and just like in a regular Windfall tournament, the player that gets all the chips wins the match.

How to Score Points in Open Face Chinese Poker

For every row you conquer, a point is yours. Secure victory in two rows, and one point shifts your way; while losing a row deducts a point from your triumph. Capture all three rows in a glorious "Scoop," reaping a grand total of 6 points.

But wait, there's more! The realm of OFC poker brims with secret treasures. Enter Bonus Points—valuable rewards bestowed upon high-ranking hands such as Flushes and Four of a Kind. These gems can revitalize your score, amplifying your glory. Your hand's strength dictates the Bonus Points it brings, enhancing your conquest.
