Play Pirate 21 Blackjack
Pirate 21 is an exciting, multi-hand version of the popular blackjack game. Here you can play up to 3 hands of blackjack at the same time. Pirate 21 is similar to traditional blackjack in that each hand is played against the house, independently of other hands. It differs in that the game does not use a standard deck of cards - instead 6 Pirate decks of cards are used. Your goal is simple - beat the dealer without going bust.
How to play Pirate 21
In this game you will play against the dealer and not against other players. The game begins when you place your bet. The dealer will deal the player 2 cards facing up and then the dealer will receive 2 cards with only one facing up. The player must now decide to hit or stand. If you decide to hit you must make sure that your hand does not exceed 21. You can hit for as many times as you like, and once you are happy you stand. Now the dealer flips over his card. If he has 17 or less he will draw another card. The best hand wins the bet. Cards of the same value means you will receive your bet back.
The main difference between Pirate 21 and traditional blackjack is that there are no 10s in this version. Additionally, you cannot place any insurance bet. If both you and the dealer gets 21, it will be considered a win for you and not a tie as the dealer's blackjack is worth less than yours. You can also double on any number of cards, you can resplit aces and after you split aces you can still double down.
Another unique feature is the side bet, which can be placed on matching the dealers up card. You can also place a bet on this side bet and if either of your first 2 cards match the dealers up card, you will win. If both of your first two card matches the dealer card, the highest payout is awarded.
