Disconnection Policy
While each user is responsible for his or her own internet connection, all players must accept the risk of disconnection. Disconnections can, and do, occur. If you are disconnected, and therefore unable to act on your hand, while having chips invested in the pot in a ring game, you will be given 30 additional seconds to reconnect. If you successfully reconnect within this timeframe, the table you were playing in will reappear automatically (if it isn’t already open). However, if you do not reconnect during this time, in the event that you have not made a bet when it is your turn to make one, our system will automatically “check” you; or (ii) if another player has placed a bet and you are required to make a “call”, your hand will “fold”, regardless of your investment in the pot or the strength of your hand.
We will not accept any responsibility for losses caused by disconnections.
In the event of a Server Crash.

The relevant team to review tournaments and hands played, review prior and during a server crash will be conducted to determine whether or not a refund will be issued. Only eligible claims will be refunded. Valid claims will be refunded in form of cash for all rebuys and add on and tournament ticket will be issued for buy in.

Rake
The "Rake" is the percentage of the pot that goes to the house. betonline.ag uses a fixed schedule for its rake, based on the table limit and number of seats.
If everyone folds to a single raise pre-flop, no rake is collected. All pots that see a flop are raked.

Multi-Table Tournaments
Multi-Table tournaments are tournaments with more than 10 players and multiple tables running concurrently. Tables merge as more players are eliminated. This continues to happen until only 1 table remains, and ultimately finishes when 1 player holds all of the chips.
Each player begins the tournament with the exact same amount of chips. There are both Limit and No Limit Hold'em Multi-Table tournaments. When one player has all of the chips, the prizes are awarded according to the prize payout for that particular tournament.
Rules
- Any player is eligible to enter into a Multi-Table tournament, providing they are able to pay the buy-in.
- All Multi-Table tournaments are played until 1 player has all of the chips.
- The button determines which players begin posting blinds in the tournament.
- betonline.ag does not permit soft play. Each player should play with the same intensity against all other players.
- There will be 5-minute breaks every hour, all Poker tournaments continue until one player holds all the chips.
- When a player loses all their chips, they are out of the tournament and finish in the order in which they were eliminated. Example: In a 210-player tournament if you are the third player eliminated, you rank at 208th place in the tournament.
- If more than one player is eliminated in a hand, the player with the most chips before the hand started finishes with a higher ranking. In the case where both players also have the same amount of chips before the hand, both players will tie for the position. If there is a tie between two or more players, the prizes they qualify for are split evenly between all tied players. For example, if two players tie for 2nd place, each player receives 50% of the second place prize and 50% of the third place prize.
- Deal Making - This includes, staking, swaps, profit-sharing, or any kind of bankroll sharing agreement with another player during tournaments and/or SNGs. Players caught deal making will have the tournament/SNG winnings removed and their buy-in/rebuy/add-ons will NOT be refunded, and the guilty players will have their accounts suspended and/or permanently closed. These rules only apply if the tournament/SNG does NOT offer deal making. Poker tournaments continue until there is one declared winner and the payoffs will be exactly according to the prize payout structure.
- All players will play with all their chips until either they lose all their chips or win the tournament. However, please note that we allow players to re-buy when they go out of the tourney as long as the tourney has a re-buy structure.
- During play in any of the poker tournaments, if a player loses their connection and does not re-connect or does not act, their hands are automatically folded and their blinds are posted automatically when it is their turn until they return. Eventually the player is "blinded out" if they do not re-connect back to the poker tournaments table.
- Players must understand and accept the risk of internet disconnections, as they can and do occur. If a player is not connected before a hand starts, they will be dealt cards and then folded automatically. If they are required to post a blind and are not connected, blinds will continue to be posted on their behalf and their hand folded. Again, this continues until the player is fully connected and back in the poker tournaments or until the player is out of the tournament.
- In case of a server problem, all poker tournaments in play during the problem are deemed as cancelled. Once the server re-starts, we will refund the full Buy-In or the last rebuy of each poker player that was still in the tournament at the time. To receive a refund of your Buy- in, please contact [email protected] with your account number and the tournament number. Players still in the tournament at the time of disconnection will be eligible for a portion of the prize pool. This payout is based on the player's proportion of chips compared to all other remaining players. This resolution treats all players fairly. If a player was eliminated from any of the poker tournaments before the server problem, they are considered "out of the tournament" and do not receive an entry fee refund or any portion of the prize pool.
In case of disputes, betonline.ag's management decision will be final.
Sit N Go Tournaments
A Sit n Go tournament is one with 2-18 players that starts immediately after the required number of players for that particular tournament is satisfied.
Each player begins the tournament with the exact same amount of chips. There are both Limit and No Limit Hold'em Sit n Go tournaments. Play continues until one player has all of the chips. When this occurs, the prizes are awarded according to the prize payout for that particular tournament.
Rules
- Any player is eligible to enter into a Sit n Go tournament, providing they are able to pay the buy-in.
- All Sit n Go tournaments are played until 1 player has all of the chips.
- All Sit n Go tables will begin 30 seconds after the final person has registered.
- betonline.ag does not permit soft play. Each player should play with the same intensity against all other players.
- There will be no breaks, all Poker tournaments continue until one player holds all the chips.
- When a player loses all their chips they are out of the tournament and finish in the order they were eliminated. Example: In a 10-player tournament if you are the third player eliminated, you are declared as finishing in 8th place.
- If more than one player is eliminated in the same hand, the player with the most chips before the hand started finishes higher.
Tournament Cancellation
In the unlikely event that a tournament should be cancelled, our main priority is to compensate players in the fairest and most equitable way possible. Depending on the state that the tournament was cancelled and the timing of the cancellation, one of the following methods, based on our sole discretion, will be applied.
There are 3 refund policies based on when the TOURNAMENT is cancelled:
- Tournament is cancelled before start
- All players get back their contributions and fee paid at registration, the means being returned in the form they have been paid (cash for cash, TM for TM, ticket for ticket).
- In GTD-tournaments, the amount of guaranteed prize is returned to the House.
- In Knockout tournaments, knockout fee is returned to players.
- In Windfalls, jackpot fee is returned to players.
- Tournament is cancelled after start (No Players have received prizes yet)
- The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
- The remaining players get their fees back.
- The remaining and eliminated players contributions are allocated as follows:
- 50% of contributions are divided equally among the remaining players
- 50% of contributions are divided among the remaining players proportionally to their amount of chips left at the beginning of the hand in which the tournament is cancelled.
- In Satellite tournaments, the remaining players get their fees back, and the contributions are divided as mentioned above. Tickets are not awarded.
- In GTD-tournaments, the guaranteed prize amount is returned to the House, contributions are allocated among players as mentioned above.
- In Knockout tournaments, remaining players get back the knockout fee paid by them at registration.
- In Time-limited tournaments with “Tickets for surviving” Payout table:
- The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
- The remaining players get their fees back.
- The remaining players get their contributions back.
- In Windfalls, jackpot fee is NOT returned to players. Player will receive tickets to the same Windfall they played in.
- Tournament is cancelled after start (Players have received prizes)
- Individual Disconnection:
When an individual player experiences a disconnection (as a result of the poker room experiencing technical issues) which results in them being knocked out of a tournament/SNG, the player will be refunded a ticket to that tournament/SNG, which may be used whenever the player wishes to do so. However if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will
NOT receive a refund. If the player was eliminated prior to the disconnection, they will not receive a refund.
- Paused Tournaments
If a tournament needs to be paused, either due to maintenance or technical issues, a message will be sent to all players in the tournament informing them that the tournament will be paused and when the tournament will start up again. 15 minutes prior to the tournament resuming, in client messages will be sent out every 5 minutes informing players when the tournament will resume play.
In the unlikely case that the time provided to players prior to the tournament being paused has passed and players still can’t login, in client messages will be sent out informing players of the new starting time of the tournament. If the player was not successful in completing the tournament, they will need to contact customer support in order to receive the refund in the form of a ticket to the same tournament. However if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will NOT receive a refund.
