OchoCinco Headed North Of The Border To CFL After Signing With Alouettes

Posted by on 4/17/2014 7:48:34 PM

In a move that most football experts didn’t see coming, but probably should have seen coming, Chad Johnson signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL on Thursday. The 36-year old sat out all of last season while hoping to land with a new team, and apparently he is tired of waiting. The CFL is a more wide open league with more passing, and the Alouettes certainly won’t hurt their chances to sell tickets following the retirement of legendary quarterback Anthony Calvillo with this move. Johnson will finally return to the football field, this time perhaps as Chad “Quatre-vingt cinq”.
