Michigan Sets Tone For Lopsided Win With Return TD On Opening Kickoff

The Michigan Wolverines improved to 5-1 with a 38-0 shutout win over Northwestern that pushed their shutout streak to a ridiculous 189 minutes of game clock, which is the team’s longest shutout streak in 35 years. This return touchdown on the opening kickoff undoubtedly set the tone for what was to come and after blowing away Oregon State, UNLV, BYU, Maryland and Northwestern the stage is set for a massive showdown with undefeated Michigan State this weekend. There are some experts that have wondered whether Michigan is the new Big Ten favorite under Jim Harbaugh and while the debate continues we will get one step closer to answering that question when they clash with the Spartans on Saturday night.
