College Football Betting: Week 13 Rundown

Posted by The Wiesguy on 11/23/2015 8:13:34 PM

Many teams are beginning to wrap up their regular season schedules this week. It’s turkey day weekend and there is still a lot to be decided. Here are some of the key games from Saturday that we are all going to be watching. Let’s try and make some money off them too.

Saturday November 28

#3 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. #12 Michigan Wolverines
12:00PM

Michigan -2

Wow...Big Blue is a small favourite at home. That is great for Wolverine fans but I think it creates an awesome buying opportunity. The Buckeyes have flaws that they also have more talent and I think Urban Meyer gets them to respond after the loss. This game is huge for both sides but for different reasons. Take OSU.

#1 Clemson Tigers vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

12:00PM

Clemson -17.5

The Tigers have been looking great but I don’t think they can afford a loss and make it to the playoffs. Normally this game would be an intense battle of close rivals but there is no doubt who the better team is. The Tigers don’t have to do anything fancy, just get the W. I would pass on the number though.

#2 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers

3:30PM

Alabama -13.5

The gap between these two turned out to be pretty great this season. The Tide have already got their lone loss of the season out of the way and I don’t see them stumbling here. There is just not one area of the Tigers game that they have to fear. They roll back Bama.

#17 North Carolina Tar Heels vs. NC State Wolfpack

3:30PM

North Carolina -7

The Tar Heels have been sneaky good this season. They have just one loss and I believe they have already clinched a spot in the ACC title game against Clemson. Making this one all about the playoffs. If they win this week and then beat Clemson shouldn’t they be in the conversation. A lot to play for for UNC and it should show, even on road. Take them to win by a score.

UCLA Bruins vs. #24 USC Trojans

3:30PM

USC -3

Battle for L.A. is always a glitzy affair. I think this one also determines the PAC 12 South Division champ. The Trojans are at home and desperate want to point things in the right direction. This is the time and spot to do so. A senior QB helps too. Just win the game and they likely cover so take the Trojans.

#4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. #11 Stanford Cardinal

7:30PM

Stanford -3.5

This is definitely an elimination game with neither team being able to afford a loss. I think the Irish are overrated and Stanford is going to overpower them on the way to an easy victory. Lots at stake and lots of reasons to back the home team. Go with Stanford.

#7 Oklahoma Sooners vs. #6 Oklahoma State Cowboys

8:00PM

Oklahoma -4

The Bedlam game is a monster this year. Either of these teams can use it to make a late playoffs push while the other is out. OU has the confidence advantage given the Cowboys just suffered their first loss but I like a home dog in a game like this. Oklahoma State will rally to keep this one tight throughout take the Cowboys plus the points.
