Belmont is fun but anti-climatic

Soccer superstar Neymar of Barcelona was seen last week with some of the biggest stars in music, movies, and sports during a vacation in the United States.

He played football with Justin Bieber, exchanged jerseys with Golden State Warrior players and watched Brazil’s 0-0 Copa America draw against Ecuador at the Rose Bowl with actor Jamie Foxx, Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, music producer Maejor and Bieber. Neymar seemed to be having the time of his life. But how do these things happen? He didn’t know any of America’s power brokers, but Dave Osokow does. He was recently featured in Sports Illustrated as the man that makes things happen in Hollywood. He places stars with stars.

p>According to the magazine and website, Osokow received a phone call from his boss Jeff Beacher who heads the Beacher Media Group. His mission was to have client Neymar meet celebrities while he vacationed in the western part of the United States.

p>He said he was a fan of Bieber’s so Osokow got him to host Neymar at his house. They later enjoyed dinner at famed Japanese restaurant Nobu in Los Angeles and later watched the Brazil game at the Rose Bowl.

p>“Neymar is a great kid and there’s a lot of buzz about him coming to L.A,” Osokow told SI.com.

p>After the Warriors 110-77 Game 2 victory over Cleveland in Oakland, Brazilian man Leandro Barbosa walked towards the dressing room when teammate Anderson Varejao pointed over Barbosa’s shoulder. He was surprised to see Neymar and gave him a big hug. He later exchanged jerseys with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

p>“I saw you doing your foot thing,” Curry said to Neymar.

p>Neymar later headed to Disneyland with some of his celebrity pals.

p>Between visits with celebrities, the Barcelona player stayed in a mansion in Beverly Hills which features 12 bathrooms, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tennis courts, 22,000 square feet on 5.2 acres of land.

p>There was only one drawback. Neymar was not allowed to have any pets or parties without the owners’ permission. p>Rules are rules after all.
