LSU Defeats Vanderbilt 41-7 - Recap

Myles Brennan was good for 337 yards through the air on Saturday as the Tigers got past the Commodores by a score of 41-7 at Vanderbilt Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Tigers were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -21.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 50.0.

Myles Brennan completed 23 of 37 pass attempts for 337 yards for the Tigers in the win.

Ja'Veon Marlow rushed for 83 yards for Vanderbilt, while Jamauri Wakefield added 52 yards. Ken Seals threw for 113 yards for the Commodores, while receivers Cam Johnson and Ben Bresnahan had 63 and 31 yards respectively.

Vanderbilt was outgained by LSU 498-266 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 28-17 by the Tigers.

Vanderbilt led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:47-29:13 split in that important category.

Next game, LSU takes its act home to face Missouri looking for another win. For Vanderbilt, they head home to face South Carolina.
