2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 5 Betting Preview

The top two teams in North America are 100 Thieves and Team SoloMid. Both teams are now 21-9 over the course of 2021, and they have been the best two teams in the LCS Summer Split too. We’ve now seen 100 Thieves win five straight matches to announce they are ready to compete for a league title, and they are big favorites over FlyQuest and Counter Logic Gaming this weekend.

2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 5 Betting Odds

Counter Logic Gaming +138
Evil Geniuses -185

Too many people were excited by Counter Logic Gaming’s 3-0 record in Week 3. CLG quickly fell back down to reality by losing all three of their games last week. Opponents figured out how to shut down Broxah’s Vi pick in the jungle, and this team is once again near the bottom of the standings.

Evil Geniuses should be able to pick up the win in this match. Contractz looked fantastic in place of Svenskeren in the jungle last week, and he is expected to get the start. Additionally, Danny continues to perform well in the bottom lane despite some questionable stats.

Team SoloMid -192
Immortals +143

Although Huni has had his share of issues in the top lane, TSM are one of the best teams in the LCS. PowerOfEvil might have taken the mantle from Bjergsen as the best mid laner in the league, and Spica has played well in the jungle.

Immortals have outperformed expectations to this point in the LCS Summer Split, but they won’t be able to pull off the upset against TSM on Saturday. This team might be poised to make a run and become the third-best team in the league by the end of the season though.

Cloud9 -118
Team Liquid -112

This is a crucial game for both of these teams. Both Cloud9 and Team Liquid are unexpectedly struggling, and they have yet to turn things around in their favor. These teams have both made some big changes in recent weeks with Zven returning to the bottom lane for Cloud9, and Armao subbing in for Santorin in the jungle for Team Liquid. This is a wait-and-see type of match, but live betting stands to be a nice option.

Dignitas -159
Golden Guardians +116

Dignitas may have fallen on hard times this split, but they should be more of a favorite against the lowly Golden Guardians. Although Akaadian has not fared well in the jungle, FakeGod is still a solid top laner and the bottom lane is pretty solid too.

Golden Guardians have struggled immensely throughout the 2021 campaign. Solo is the worst performing top laner in the LCS, and Stixxay can no longer compete at a high level in the bottom lane.

FlyQuest +340
100 Thieves -526

It’s uncommon to find a favorite of this magnitude in the LCS. However, 100 Thieves are the hottest team in the league, while FlyQuest have lost seven straight games. FlyQuest seems set to start playing their academy players to give them experience on the main stage, and it’s going to be a rough transition for bottom lane duo Tomo and Diamond.
