Thanks to crazy large minus moneylines and multiple games that don’t look super competitive on paper, we have to get creative once again to handcraft our Crazy NFL Parlay.
Don’t feel too down about it. Two weeks ago, we nearly got it to pay off, hitting 8 out of the 10 bets we needed to turn $10 into nearly $22,000. It was our closest result since Week 3, when we were just one game away, the Monday Nighter no less, from cashing in on over $11,000.
Last week, we had the tantalizing moneylines, but stumbled, hitting just 3 out of 8. It was too much to ask the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars to win in the same week. The Gambling God were never going to let that happen.
But with that toe stub comes a new resolve. We are again pairing moneylines with over-unders to manufacture the perfect parlay with which to risk ten smackaroons in the hopes of paying off our student loans.
If this is your first Crazy Paraly, here’s what I do. I scour the odds, moneylines and over-unders to build a parlay delivering the maximum payout for the most minimum or risks — ten bucks. The price of a trip to Starbucks .
But I am not stumbling blindfolded to the donkey poster with the tail in my hand, pin dangerously close to putting out every eye in the room. No. I am taking the NFL’s mantra of “Any Given Sunday” and harnessing its power for good. I am attempting to use entropy and chaos to fill our bank accounts. And so…
Here are my artisinal selections for Week 13:
Cardinals at Bears Over 42.5 (-110)
Colts at Texans Over 44.5 (-107)
Chargers (+133)
Chargers at Bengals under 49.5 (-110)
Washington Football Team (-102)
WFT at Raiders under 49 (-112)
Jaguars at Rams over 48 (-105)
Steelers (+177)
Seahawks (+147)
Patriots (+117)
If, as you always should, you’ve checked out this week’s Friday Afternoon Quarterback, then you know I like the Seattle Seahawks to upset the San Francisco 49ers outright. I also like the WFT to knock off the Las Vegas Raiders, who made one last ripple in the bowl before finally flushing their season away.
You also have seen that all these over-unders line up exactly with my score predictions.
It’s the other moneylines we need to talk ourselves into, so let’s get to it.
The Los Angeles Chargers and Cincinnati Bengals struggle to play up to their potential week to week. The Bengals have now won two consecutive games, which means it could absolutely be time for them to drop one against a quality opponent.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting the Baltimore Ravens and swept them last year with pretty much these same rosters on the field.
And, lastly, it would be just like Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots to serve official notice that they will be returning to the Super Bowl by rediscovering their two decade long dominance over the Buffalo Bills.
A $10 parlay bet win on these moneylines and over-unders pays $17,834.75.
