2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 2 Betting Preview

The greatest organization in the history of League of Legends in North America is in a death spiral. Team SoloMid have only been better than Immortals through the first month of the LCS season, and they have just one victory to their credit. Their decision to rebuild their team around Spica and bring over Keaiduo and Shenyi from the LPL has not paid off, and long-time mid laner Bjergsen is thriving on rival Team Liquid. It’s a strange time to be a TSM fan, and a loss to Golden Guardians on Sunday would be hard to swallow.

2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 2 Betting Odds

Cloud9 -833
Immortals +441

LS has made some major changes with Cloud9. He went with veteran top laner Darshan and long-time bottom laner Zven in the Lock-In Tournament, but they have since been replaced in their roles by Summit and Berserker. They won both their games last week despite the changes as they have shown how using supports in the mid lane can be valuable. Fudge jumped on Ivern and Soraka, so a lot of people will be very curious to see what C9 does against a bottom tier team like Immortals.

Immortals looked bad in their two losses last week, but this team has a good mix of veterans and talent. They shouldn’t be this much of an underdog considering C9 is doing so many things differently and some of them are bound to not work. PowerOfEvil has the potential to win his lane in a big way, making Immortals a tantalizing pick at this price.

Team SoloMid -204
Golden Guardians +148

Both the Golden Guardians and TSM have just one win at this point of the season. TSM are largely the favorite based on name recognition at this point, leading to some value with the Golden Guardians as an underdog here. Ablazeolive has played very well in the mid lane, and the bottom lane should start to improve in the next few weeks.

Evil Geniuses -115
100 Thieves -116

This is the best match of Sunday. Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves looked like two of the top teams in the LCS during the Lock-In Tournament, although 100 Thieves were surprisingly upset in the quarterfinals. 100T are the reigning LCS champions, and they stomped their two opponents last week. They are a team to ride due to their continuity from last season, but new patches with major changes can be tricky.

Evil Geniuses have the best bottom laner in the LCS in Danny, and Inspired is proving he is one of the top junglers. They have had problems in the mid lane and top lane though, so 100 Thieves are the play.

Team Liquid -500
FlyQuest +318

The Lock-In Champions were stomped by 100 Thieves last week, casting doubt on their potential to win the LCS despite having what many consider to be the most talented team in the region. This is a great meta for Liquid though, as Bjergsen can pick any number of champions and Hans Sama can take over on bottom laners like Aphelios and Zeri.

FlyQuest went 2-0 last week, but they are a prohibitive underdog this week for a reason. Their bottom lane will be unable to compete despite massive damage numbers from Johnsun in Week 1, as teams will figure out how to deal with Kumo playing full supports like Karma and Janna in the top lane.

Dignitas -208
Counter Logic Gaming +149

Everyone is still expecting Dignitas to return to Earth. They have shown there is reason to be optimistic about this team’s chances though, despite the lack of big names. Blue has played superb in the mid lane, and River is making a lot of plays as a jungler. That will give them a big edge over a CLG team that is essentially spare parts that have been scrapped together.
