2023 BUFFALO BILLS WIN PREDICTION

BY ADAM GREENE

For the Buffalo Bills, 2022 offered them a chance to catch the Kansas City Chiefs and forge a path to their first Super Bowl in nearly 30 years. Only the Cincinnati Bengals beat them to it. Twice in a row.

So it’s back to the drawing board for what is arguably the third/fourth best team in football.

Buffalo Bills 2023 Odds

2023 Super Bowl Odds: +850

2023 AFC Championship Odds: +525

2023 AFC East Odds: +120

Team Wins: Over 10.5 (-155), Under 10.5 (+125)

In spite of a tough schedule, that only got more difficult by the addition of Aaron Rodgers to their AFC East rival New York Jets, the Bills have the capability of beating every single team on their schedule. That is, they do as long as Josh Allen is healthy. Every great team needs its starting quarterback to compete, but I’m not sure any team, outside of the Baltimore Ravens in years past, counts more on its QB to specifically make SportsCenter highlights to win games than the Bills. It doesn’t seem like the smartest way to do things, but Buffalo has done pretty good with it so far.

After opening at the Jets, the Bills have smooth sailing until they host the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants in consecutive weeks. Still, a 4-1 start is probably on the table, with 3-2 at worst.

It gets easier for a couple of weeks, with a down New England Patriots in Foxboro and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Buffalo. Their final month of the season, post bye, will determine their playoff positioning. They play at the Kansas City Chiefs, before facing the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers, Pats again and at the Dolphins to wrap the regular season. That Nov. 5 face off with the Bengals on Sunday Night Football might be the most important game they play this year.

2023-23 Win Prediction: 12-5
