Some of the best golfers in the world will make their way to Jackson, Mississippi where the PGA Tour will hold the Sanderson Farms Championship at The Country Club of Jackson this week. While several big names will skip out on the event, there will be plenty of talented players in the field including Zach Johnson, Jimmy Walker and Jason Dufner. Following a relatively long lay off, it’s time to jump right back in to the action and figure out how to make some serious money betting on this tournament. Here is a look at the best bets on the board to win the Sanderson Farms Championship.

THE FAVORITES
BRANDT SNEDEKER
ODDS: +1800
The second-best golfer in the world according to the Official World Golf Ranking, Snedeker is in line for another strong performance this week. The former FedEx Cup champion has a history of delivering early on in the year and we are expecting that to be the case again in Jackson. Snedeker ranks in the Top 25 in both Shots Gained: Approach and Shots Gained: Putting, making him the only golfer in this field to rank that high in both categories. After a strong finish to last season, look for Snedeker to come out on fire this week at decent odds for one of the sports betting favorites.
SUNGJAE IM
ODDS: +1600
Fresh off a PGA Tour Rookie of the Year performance last season, the 21-year-old Im is looking to carry over some of that momentum from last season with a strong start to his second year. Im had 17 Top 10 finishes in his debut season, which means the bar will be high heading in to a year where he is confident he can best that total. While he is still looking for his first career PGA Tour win, it’s only a matter of time before he delivers. While Snedeker is our best bet among the favorites, we aren’t about to overlook Im as a legitimate contender to win this tournament outright.
NEXT IN LINE
BRIAN HARMAN
ODDS: +2800
Harman has been on a bit of a run of late with four Top 10 finishes in his last eight starts, including a T-3rd at Greenbrier. Now he gets another opportunity to chase that elusive victory against a field that isn’t exactly loaded with dominant golfers. Considering how good he has looked of late and how his recent results match up against the golfers he is set to compete again this week, Harman makes for an intriguing value pick.
EMILIANO GRILLO
ODDS: +4000
Grillo would have a lot more victories to his name if he could do a better job when he actually gets to the green. However, while he has struggled with his putting, Grillo is strong in nearly every other aspect of his game and that should translate to him gaining a bit of an edge on a weaker field this early on in the season. Simply put, if Grillo does a good enough job on the greens he could end up in the winner circle as an excellent value option to win outright.
SLEEPER PICK
SAM BURNS
ODDS: +8000
If you are looking to take a deep shot on a super sleeper pick then you might want to consider Burns at +8000 odds. At first glance, there doesn’t seem like much that would be able to convince you to take a chance on him this week, especially since he doesn’t have a pro win to his name since April of 2018 on the Web.com Tour. However, Burns finished T-3rd here a year ago and he has to feel confident that he can challenge for the outright victory again this time around. At such long odds, it might be worth putting a little bit of money down on Burns to surprise at this week’s Sanderson Farms Championship. If you’re want to play it a big more conservative, maybe take him for a Top 10 prop.
