NFL Football Betting: Cleveland Browns vs. San Francisco 49ers Prop Best Bets

The 49ers have had almost the longest layoff a team could have. After a Week 4 bye, the Niners play in the last game of Week 5. They’re also one of two remaining undefeated teams after Kansas City fell to Indianapolis on Sunday night.
Though the Browns haven’t had the massive success some predicted they would have in the preseason, they are coming off a big road win over the Ravens. They’ll have the opportunity to do the same in San Francisco tonight.
If you want a little money on the line, here are a few of our favorite props to consider.
NICK CHUBB UNDER 86.5 RUSHING YARDS (-143)
Chubb is fourth in the league in yards per game but the 49ers have shut down each running attack they’ve faced. They’re only allowing 75 rushing yards per game, good for third in the NFL. Ronald Jones was the most successful running back against the Niners when he picked up 75 yards in Week 1. Chubb could have his worst game of the season so far.
GEORGE KITTLE HAS 81 RECEIVING YARDS OR MORE (+110)
The Browns are a top 10 matchup for tight ends and Kittle is due for a big game. Though he’s one of the best tight ends in the league, he hasn’t eclipsed 57 yards yet. He surpassed 81 yards eight times in 2018.
JIMMY GAROPPOLO TO HAVE 264+ PASSING YARDS, MATT BREIDA TO HAVE 1+ TOUCHDOWNS, GEORGE KITTLE TO HAVE 7+ RECEPTIONS AND SF TO WIN (+394)
Here’s a well-rounded bet for those who believe in San Francisco. Garoppolo topped 264 yards in two of three games this year. We’ve already talked about how Kittle is primed for a big game. He’s averaging 5.6 receptions per game, so seven isn’t out of reach. The Niners are favored by five points, so they’re clearly expected to win. The biggest gamble here is Breida scoring a touchdown. He hasn’t scored this season is not known as a touchdown machine. But he is a home run threat with +120 odds to score–not incredibly dissimilar from Chubb and Odell Beckham (+100 each).
ODELL BECKHAM HAS 139 RECEIVING YARDS OR MORE (+486)
Beckham is coming off back-to-back lackluster performances. Everyone, including Cleveland’s coaching staff, knows Beckham needs to be kept happy or he’ll wreck the entire locker room. Since it will be difficult to attack the Niners on the ground, the Browns can grease their squeaky wheel through the air.
In nine career Monday night games, Beckham has exceeded 139 yards four times. That includes earlier this season against the Jets.
ODELL BECKHAM 2 TD OR MORE (+500)
In the same vein, Beckham scored multiple touchdowns in two of his nine career Monday night games. The squeaky wheel scenario applies here too. On top of that, the Niners allowed four touchdowns to wide receivers in three games. Though Jarvis Landry will provide competition, Beckham is the receiver most likely to score.
The last time Beckham faced the 49ers (Week 10 of 2018) he scored twice.
