Week 12 NFL Football Betting: ATS Power Rankings 1-16

16. HOUSTON TEXANS (5-5)
WEEK 11 RANK: 12

The Texans had thrived as underdogs, but that didn’t matter much in their 34-point loss to Baltimore. They’ll have a quick turnaround to play the Colts for the second time on Thursday night. The first meeting ended in a seven-point loss as 1.5-point underdogs.

15. BALTIMORE RAVENS (5-5)
WEEK 11 RANK: 20

At one point, the Ravens were 1-5 ATS and near the bottom of these rankings. Four covers later, they’ve broken into the top half. Not only that, but none of the covers were seriously in doubt. They’ll try to keep their streak alive in a road matchup with the Rams on Monday night.

14. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (6-5)
WEEK 11 RANK: 18

Patrick Mahomes got back in the ATS win column with a Monday night win over the Chargers. It wasn’t a great statistical performance for Mahomes, but he didn’t need to produce one with Philip Rivers tossing picks left and right. The Chiefs are off this week, then host the Raiders in Week 13.

13. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (5-4-1)
WEEK 11 RANK: 19

Jacoby Brissett’s return helped the Colts end their brief ATS and straight-up losing streaks. But as has often been the case for the Colts this season, one man returned and another went to the injury report. Marlon Mack could miss the rest of the season and T.Y. Hilton still hasn’t returned to practice. They could be without him for Thursday night’s trip to Houston.

12. MINNESOTA VIKINGS (6-5)
WEEK 11 RANK: 8

The Vikings were fortunate to pick up a win over the Broncos, so covering as 10.5-point favorites was out of the question. They’ll enter their bye having covered just once in their last four games.

11. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (5-4-1)
WEEK 11 RANK: 6

Though the 49ers got a push this week, it was an extremely lucky push. The Cardinals were leading late and only lost their cover because of a fumble returned for a touchdown on the game’s final play. The Niners now have one cover in their last five games.

10. DENVER BRONCOS (6-4)
WEEK 11 RANK: 15

Per Mike Sando of The Athletic, the Broncos have lost three games in which they had the lead in the game’s final minute. The 2013 Vikings and 2015 Giants did it four times, which is the most in the last 20 seasons. But hey, they covered! They’re 5-2 ATS as underdogs, which is what they are this weekend in Buffalo.

9. DALLAS COWBOYS (6-4)
WEEK 11 RANK: 13

It was a very slim cover for the Cowboys against Detroit, but a cover nonetheless. Though they’re just 6-4, the Cowboys have been favored in every game this season. That changes this week as they’re currently 6.5-point underdogs for their trip to New England.

8. OAKLAND RAIDERS (6-4)
WEEK 11 RANK: 5

The Raiders had a surprisingly difficult time with Cincinnati. Though they were favored by 13, they never led by more than seven at any point. They’re once again favored against a doormat this week as they’ll give three points to the Jets. Perhaps Oakland’s biggest obstacle will be not looking ahead to their huge AFC West matchup with the Chiefs the following week.

7. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (6-4)
WEEK 11 RANK: 4

Pittsburgh finally looked the way we expected them to look in a loss to Cleveland. There are only so many injuries a team can take. It’s possible they’ll be without both James Conner and JuJu Smith-Schuster, but they’re still 6.5-point favorites in Cincinnati. 

6. BUFFALO BILLS (6-3-1)
WEEK 11 RANK: 9

The Bills weren’t close to a cover in their first meeting with Miami, but they were much more successful the second time around. They’re 1-3 ATS as home favorites and are hosting Denver and giving four points this weekend.

5. LOS ANGELES RAMS (7-3)
WEEK 11 RANK: 7

Jared Goff didn’t play well in Week 11, but fortunately for him Mitchell Trubisky was even worse. Next up is a Monday night matchup with the Ravens, so Goff will have to do a lot more to outplay the opposing quarterback.

4. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (7-3)
WEEK 11 RANK: 6

New Orleans bounced back from the Atlanta fiasco with an easy win over Tampa. After Atlanta had another dominating performance last week, maybe we don’t have to knock the Saints too much. They’ve still covered seven of their last eight.

3. ARIZONA CARDINALS (7-3-1)
WEEK 11 RANK: 1

The Cardinals would have easily maintained the top spot had they not given up a meaningless fumble return touchdown on the final play of the game. But they did, so the push is going to drop them slightly. They’re off this week, but they could easily get back in the top spot if the next two teams can’t cover.

2. GREEN BAY PACKERS (7-3) 
WEEK 11 RANK: 2

The Packers were idle last week and should be well-rested for their huge game with the 49ers on Sunday night. Green Bay is set to be underdogs for the third time this season. They covered each of the first two times.

1. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (7-3)
WEEK 11 RANK: 3

The Patriots bounced back from the Ravens loss and return to the top of the rankings. They’ll host the Cowboys this week, which bodes well since they’re 3-0 ATS against NFC teams this season.
