2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 4 Betting Preview

We are starting to see a gap develop between the top teams in the LCS. There are only two games separating Team SoloMid, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, and Team Liquid from each other, but every other team in the league is at best one game over .500. North America only has three spots for the League of Legends World Championship, so at least one of the top four teams will be left at home this fall. They will be jockeying for position again in Week 4, as we are now 60% of the way through the season.
2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 4 Betting Odds
Dignitas +136
Evil Geniuses -182
Both Dignitas and Evil Geniuses are looking to play spoiler this year. These teams are both 14-13 coming into the fourth week of the LCS Summer Split, but Dignitas is riding a four-game losing streak. That led Dignitas to drop jungler Dardoch, and they are set to ride Akaadian for the rest of the split. Unfortunately, Akaadian didn’t have a good debut with a 0.9 KDA in two games last week.
The Geniuses may have struck gold with their acquisition of Danny. The team’s new bottom laner is growing into his role, and that’s why they are a moderate favorite coming into Sunday’s first match of the day.
100 Thieves -256
Immortals +186
100 Thieves have been one of the best two teams in the LCS through the first three weeks of the Summer Split. Abbedagge has been superb in the mid lane with a 7.6 KDA, and FBI has dealt 30.8% of his team’s damage in the bottom lane per Games of Legends.
This Immortals team has the talent to match up with the Thieves. Insanity can go mano y mano with Abbedagge in the mid lane, and Xerxe is a quality jungler early in the split. That makes the underdog worth a play at these odds.
Team SoloMid -143
Team Liquid +107
It will be interesting to see what Liquid looks like this week after Jatt decided to step down as head coach. The former caster was never popular with the team’s fans, and his decision to bench import top laner Alphari was the final straw. Liquid has wilted through the first round robin of the Summer Split with a 5-4 record.
Team SoloMid can take advantage of the disorder we are currently seeing out of Liquid. PowerOfEvil is playing exceptionally in the mid lane, and Spica is proving to be a top tier jungler.
FlyQuest -161
Golden Guardians +122
It’s likely going to be a long split for both FlyQuest and Golden Guardians. These are the two worst teams in the LCS, and there isn’t much reason for hope. Back Golden Guardians here as this game should be closer to a toss-up.
Cloud9 -213
Counter Logic Gaming +157
Too much respect is being given to Counter Logic Gaming after their 3-0 week in Week 3. While they did secure nice wins over 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, and Dignitas, this team isn’t that good. Broxah will fall down to Earth after being named Player of the Week for his performances on Vi, and Cloud9 will have little trouble taking down CLG.
