Unlike other regions, we didn’t see a lot of changes in the LEC after the Spring Split. The top teams in the league held firm with their rosters, and the only major change we saw among the favorites to win the league was Haru replacing Selfmade in the jungle for Team Vitality. They will still find it hard to beat Rogue, Fnatic, and G2 Esports though, and those are the top three teams entering the 2022 LEC Summer Split by the League of Legends betting odds.

Rogue finished the regular season as the best team in the LEC during the Spring Split. They went 14-4 and swept G2 Esports and Team Vitality, but they fell apart in the postseason once again. Although they beat Misfits Gaming and Fnatic to make the LEC Spring Split Finals, they were swept by G2 Esports with a spot in the Mid-Season Invitational on the line. Malrang was the best jungler in the spring, but this bottom lane of Comp and Trymbi will be tested in this meta. While Trymbi has what it takes to be a star in the LEC, Comp has yet to prove he is elite.
It was disappointing to see Fnatic lose to first Rogue and then G2 Esports in the playoffs. However, they are the team that can benefit the most from the current meta as they have the best bottom lane in the LEC. Hylissang is one of the best support players in the world, and Upset shined all throughout last season alongside him. They can take over in the late game like no other bottom lane in the region.
G2 Esports came alive in the playoffs last year. After a 3-1 loss to Fnatic, they swept four straight teams to win the LEC and earn a spot to the Mid-Season Invitational. Players like Broken Blade, Flagged, and Targamas received valuable experience at MSI, and that will help G2 ahead of the Summer Split. This team has a habit of not taking the regular season as seriously as other squads though, so that is something to keep in mind.
After an offseason of spending, Team Vitality was expected to immediately contend with the best teams in the LEC. However, that failed to happen as Vitality finished the regular season at 9-9. They barely survived Excel Esports in the playoffs, and now Selfmade is inactive. Haru is a downgrade at jungler, and it will take some time for him to build chemistry with Perkz in the mid lane. This might be another disappointing split for Vitality.
The MAD Lions made a change in the mid lane in May. They let go of Reeker after a disappointing season, and they signed veteran Nisqy. That should make this team better at team fighting, and that’s an area where they struggled last year. This might be the best value on the board.
