Week 10 NFL Football ATS Power Rankings 17-32

32. ATLANTA FALCONS (2-6)
WEEK 9 RANK: 32

Despite the best efforts of a few of the teams ranked ahead of them, the Falcons maintain their hold of the bottom spot through their bye week. They’re set to be double-digit underdogs for the first time this season when they travel to New Orleans on Sunday.

31. CLEVELAND BROWNS (2-6)
WEEK 9 RANK: 31

Cleveland lost as four-point favorites to a team starting a quarterback who was a sixth-round pick in 2016 and had never taken a snap in a regular season game. They also failed to cover for the fifth straight game. Let’s just say they wouldn’t have to do much to find themselves at the bottom of these rankings next week.

30. NEW YORK JETS (2-6)
WEEK 9 RANK: 30

The Dolphins aren’t as much of a joke as they used to be and the game was in Miami. Still, an eight-point loss as 3.5-point favorites to a previously winless team is fairly alarming. They’ll return home this week to face their MetLife Stadium roommates, the Giants, who just got blown out on national television.

29. CHICAGO BEARS (2-6)
WEEK 9 RANK: 29

Though the Bears have now lost four straight (both ATS and straight-up) at least this time they last as underdogs. Mitchell Trubisky looks more like an overwhelmed backup than the second pick in the 2017 draft. They’ll host the Lions this week and, at the moment, they’re 2.5-point favorites.

28. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (2-6)
WEEK 9 RANK: 28

Our hearts go out to Tampa bettors. Had Jason Myers made his field goal attempt at the end of regulation, the Bucs would have lost to the Seahawks straight-up but covered the spread. Instead, Myers missed and Russell Wilson drove the Seahawks down the field for a touchdown in overtime, giving the Seahawks the win and the cover. The Bucs have failed to win or cover in four straight but are currently four-point favorites against Arizona.

27. WASHINGTON REDSKINS (3-6)
WEEK 9 RANK: 25

Finally a shake-up as the bottom-five teams in our Week 9 rankings all failed to cover or didn’t play. Washington’s two-cover streak came to an end with a 15-point loss to the Bills. They’re on bye this week before a matchup with the Jets.

26. NEW YORK GIANTS (3-6)
WEEK 9 RANK: 24

Jinx or no, the Giants weren’t close to covering Monday. Since winning and covering in his first two starts, Daniel Jones is 0-5 and 1-4 ATS. Next up is a “road” game with the Jets, so he’ll have a good chance to turn things around.

25. CINCINNATI BENGALS (3-5)
WEEK 9 RANK: 21

At last, the Redskins have a legit cover. They’ve also covered twice in a row, so we can’t keep them in the cellar any longer. A trip to Buffalo awaits.

24. BALTIMORE RAVENS (3-5)
WEEK 9 RANK: 27

The Ravens have now covered two in a row after starting the season 1-5 ATS. What’s more, they did it against 7-2 Seattle and the previously unbeaten Patriots. They still have a way to go before we trust them, but this is a step in the right direction.

23. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (3-4-2)
WEEK 9 RANK: 26

No one gave the Chargers a chance against Green Bay, but the public is typically a loser. The Chargers are 2-0 and scored more than 20 points for the first time since Week 4, possibly due to their new offensive coordinator. They’ll travel to Oakland on Thursday night this week.

22. TENNESSEE TITANS (3-5-1)
WEEK 9 RANK: 19

It was fun to imagine Ryan Tannehill turning things around. That’s over now, as he reminded us who he was all those years in Miami. The Titans host Kansas City this week in what could be Patrick Mahomes’ return from injury.

21. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (4-5)
WEEK 9 RANK: 23

That’s two straight covers for the Eagles as their defense looked like world-beaters against Mitchell Trubisky. They’ll have the week off this week and return with a tall order: beating New England after a bye week and a loss.

20. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (4-5)
WEEK 9 RANK: 20

As we said in the Tampa Bay section, the Seahawks were weirdly fortunate to cover in this one. It was their first home cover of the season. They’ll reignite one of the best rivalries of the decade when they face the 49ers on Monday night.

19. MIAMI DOLPHIS (4-4)
WEEK 9 RANK: 22

The Dolphins reach .500 ATS with their fourth straight cover and first straight-up win over the Jets. Up is down, black is white and so on. If the Dolphins cover against the Colts this week, we’d have to consider the unthinkable: moving them into the top half of the rankings.

18. DETROIT LIONS (4-4)
WEEK 9 RANK: 12

At one point, the Lions were 4-1 ATS and were third in our rankings. A third straight ATS loss has them completely out of the top half of the rankings. Fortunately, facing Chicago’s offense is a good way to turn things around.

17. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (5-4)
WEEK 9 RANK: 18

Patrick Mahomes could return this week, meaning Matt Moore will have gone 1-1 both straight-up and ATS. There’s still no line for Kansas City’s trip to Tennessee, but having the 2018 MVP back would be a big help.
