BetOnline Expands Daily Sims Coverage To UFC, NBA And More Madden

With all of the major sports on pause right now, many people expected esports to help fill the void and it surely has. While betting on the professional gamers competing has reached new heights, the bigger surprise has been the rise in popularity of wagering on sims. If you’re not quite familiar with sims – short for simulations – they are a computer-versus-computer matchup. The rules are set, the parameters are put in place but once the game starts, it’s just the computer competing against itself. Not only has it been fascinating to watch, viewers have had a serious appetite for betting on the contests. That’s why BetOnline is expanding it’s offering both for the betting lines and the matchups that they stream on a daily basis.
BETONLINE STARTS UFC SIMS
Last Saturday, BetOnline launched UFC sims using EA Sports’ UFC 3. That’s the latest and best game on the market for the Mixed Martial Arts brand. Every weekend, you’ll be able to tune into the BetOnline UFC Twitch channel to watch the fights go down. Better yet, we’ll have lines up throughout the week on the upcoming fights, so you can place your bets on who you think will win.
Just a reminder, there are no people actually playing these games or controlling the fighters. This is a match with one computer AI going up against another, so it an equal contest on the console.
MADDEN STREAMS EXPAND TO FOUR PER DAY
Originally, we started out with two Madden sims per day but given the hunger that bettors have had for the action, we’ve now expanded to four daily contests. That means we’ve got kickoffs at 2:00 PM ET, 4:00 PM ET, 6:00 PM ET and 8:00 PM ET.

Each day, you can check the ‘sports sims’ section to see the latest odds for each contest. That includes spreads, totals and moneylines for each game. All of the games are simulated on Madden 20 with rosters as of the end of the 2019-20 season.
PLENTY OF NBA2K 20 ACTION
Bettors have been enjoying NBA2K action for quite some time now as it’s one of the more popular options in esports leagues. Remember, esports is when professional gamers go head-to-head. Currently, NBA2K Season 5 is ongoing and we have daily betting lines on all of the matchups in the ‘esports’ section. We’re also streaming almost all of those games on the NBA2K BetOnline Twitch channel.
However, BetOnline is also now launching NBA2K sims, which means it will be computer versus computer in these contests. For those who know the ins and outs of esports and how good the different gamers are, they might prefer to stick to that version of the game. Sims take a little less effort for handicapping because it’s just the AI versus the AI; all you have to do is decide which team you think has the edge.
WHERE TO WATCH
Twitch.tv is the place to be if you want to watch all of the action go down as it happens. BetOnline now has three streaming channels on Twitch where we’ll running the games and showing the action online. Here’s where to find the action:
- UFC sims: Twitch.tv/BetOnlineUFC
- NFL sims: Twitch.tv/BetOnlineMadden
- NBA sims: Twitch.tv/BetOnlineNBA2k
