2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 6 Betting Preview

Three teams have already locked up a spot in the LCS Championship playoffs. 100 Thieves and Team SoloMid have been the best two teams in North America this season, while Cloud9’s dominance in the Spring Split meant that a middling record in summer has been good enough to put them over the top. Team Liquid is close to locking up a spot too, as we continue to see the LCS stratify into three tiers. That has led to some lopsided League of Legends betting odds in Week 6 of the Summer Split.

2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 6 Betting Odds

Team SoloMid -357
Golden Guardians +245

The most decorated team in North American League of Legends is a force to be reckoned with again. Team SoloMid has the second-best record in the LCS during the Summer Split at 11-4, and they have a dominant mid laner leading the way. PowerOfEvil has been fantastic since joining TSM, posting a 6.2 KDA while dealing 30% of his team’s damage, and he is very scary now that LeBlanc is back in the meta.

Golden Guardians is building for the future. This team made that clear from the outset this year, as they continue to stick with their starters. There is reason to believe this team can challenge next year, but they simply aren’t competitive with the top teams in 2021.

Team Liquid -196
Immortals +144

It’s been a rough year for Team Liquid. They were among the favorites to win the LCS at the start of the season, but they aren’t even a top three team now. Liquid has a new top laner, a new jungler, and a new coach, but nothing they have done has fixed their issues.

Immortals don’t have near the same reputation, but they have the same exact record as Liquid this split. Insanity and Xerxe have both played very well, and the Australian bottom lane of Raes and Destiny hasn’t been bad either. This is a nice price to bet on Immortals.

Evil Geniuses +195
100 Thieves -270

There are the two hottest teams in the LCS. 100 Thieves have won eight straight games, while the Evil Geniuses have won five straight matches.

It’s impossible to have an easier week than Evil Geniuses had last week though. They played FlyQuest, Counter Logic Gaming, and Golden Guardians, and those are clearly the worst three teams in the league. 100 Thieves are a cut above, and they will prove that again on Saturday.

Dignitas +264
Cloud9 -385

Should Cloud9 be this much of a favorite against anyone but the bottom three teams in the LCS? Probably not. The best team in the Spring Split is just 8-7 in the Summer Split. They have looked better over the last couple weeks as Zven has played well in the bottom lane, but this team still has some issues.

They don’t have the sexiest playstyle, but Dignitas can reach up and knock off the best teams. They are 3-1 against Evil Geniuses and 3-1 against Team SoloMid over the course of 2021.

FlyQuest +132
Counter Logic Gaming -175

These are the two worst teams in the LCS. FlyQuest have lost 10 straight matches coming into Week 6, while Counter Logic Gaming have dropped six in a row. That has led to FlyQuest replacing their entire LCS roster with their academy team this week. It’s not really a move of desperation, but it could be just what the doctor ordered for a team that went to Worlds last year.
