2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 3 Betting Preview

There are no unbeaten teams left in the LCS after just two weeks of play. 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Dignitas, and FlyQuest all lost last week, resulting in a five-way tie for first place with Team Liquid at this point. However, the biggest story remains the downfall of Team SoloMid. TSM is the most successful organization in the history of the LCS, but they are 0-4 and did not make the knockout rounds of the Lock-In Tournament.

2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 3 Betting Odds

Evil Geniuses -455
Immortals +293

Evil Geniuses have a more talented team than Immortals, but they probably shouldn’t be this much of a favorite with a record of 2-2. Mid laner Jojopyun has really struggled after some strong performances in the Lock-In Tournament, as he is carrying a 1.7 KDA with a 48.9% kill percentage per Games of Legends.

That makes Immortals a solid pick to pull off the upset. PowerOfEvil has the potential to hard win his lane, and this team isn’t as bad as their record and numbers indicate through the first few weeks.

100 Thieves -323
FlyQuest +220

The reigning LCS champions were stunned in the Lock-In Tournament, but they have impressive wins over Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses so far in this split. They laid an egg against Immortals last week, but they had a 5800 gold lead before a terrible team fight led to them losing that game.

FlyQuest are 3-1 too, but this team isn’t as talented as 100 Thieves. They were able to beat three of the four worst teams in the league the first two weeks, and this will be a wake-up call. Additionally, they won’t be able to play enchanter supports in the top lane anymore, as that has largely been nerfed with the newest patch.

Cloud9 -1111
Team SoloMid +540

Cloud9 should certainly be a large favorite in this match, but the oddsmakers are giving C9 a little too much credit. This organization is recapturing imaginations with new coach LS, yet they haven’t been as dominant as some people make it out to be in their 3-1 start.

Keaiduo has played well in the mid lane for TSM, and Yursan is coming in to pair up with Tactical after a dreadful start from Shenyi. This team will be more competitive, and they have more of a chance of pulling off the upset than the oddsmakers indicate this week.

Golden Guardians +217
Dignitas -312

There’s good reason to like Golden Guardians’ chances of pulling off the upset too. This organization has done a good job of slowing building a team from scratch, and they have a nice mix of veterans looking to prove something and long-time players at this point. Lost has been very good in the bottom lane, and Pridestalkr has been scary on assassin champions in the jungle.

Dignitas will likely fall back down to Earth soon after a 3-1 start. Blue and Neo have absurd KDAs, but they have also benefited from playing bottom of the barrel teams.

Team Liquid -2500
Counter Logic Gaming +803

This is tough. Team Liquid is head and shoulders better than Counter Logic Gaming, but no team should be -2500 in a professional League of Legends match between teams from major regions. Liquid are now the most talented team in the LCS with CoreJJ’s visa issues being resolved, but CLG might look to roll the dice with some oddball strategies in order to try to get their first win.
