LeBron Watch: Mavericks Leads Odds as Trade Rumors Swirl After Lakers Opt-In

All had been quiet in the land of King James this offseason…until the last 24 hours. 

First, news came out that LeBron had opted in to the final year of his Lakers deal.  

L.A. fans rejoiced, but then quickly realized that opting in didn’t mean another season in the Purple and Gold, especially since a new contract has not been discussed. 

It appears that LeBron James and Rich Paul are in a “wait and see” mode with the Lakers organization. And, now, trade speculations are flying around James.
