2021 League of Legends Summer EU Masters Quarterfinals Betting Preview

Karmine Corp is out to defend its Spring EU Masters title. The French squad was the talk of the tournament earlier this year, leading to top laner Adam signing a contract with Fnatic and representing the team at the League of Legends World Championships. They have since replaced him with former Team Vitality top laner Cabochard and will look to defend their crown without him.
2021 League of Legends Summer EU Masters Quarterfinals Betting Odds
Movistar Riders -455
Fnatic Rising +290
This is a potential upset in the making as we saw Fnatic Rising and Movistar Riders split their two games in the Play-In Stage. Movistar Riders has been very predictable with Maxlore taking Viego into the jungle and xKenzuke selecting Ryze for the mid lane, so Fnatic Rising might be able to get some edges in pick and ban.
The worry is that Fnatic Rising just doesn’t have the talent to win. Mid laner Dajor has not been impressive with a 2.1 KDA through six games, and bottom laner Bean has been way too aggressive at times.
BIG -370
PDW +250
PDW have a good chance of pulling off the upset as a sizable underdog too. This all-Polish team has two very good players in mid laner Czajek and bottom laner Odi11. Czajek carries an absurd 22.8 KDA per Games of Legends, while Odi11 has a 17.0 KDA. If jungler Bruness can play well, they can knock off BIG.
The German organization has a very good jungler in Akabane. The French jungler posted a 9.0 KDA in the Group Stage, and he was instrumental in getting his lanes ahead. This is a more balanced team, but BIG could see its bottom lane outclassed by Odi11.
Karmine Corp -417
UCAM Club +276
This wasn’t an easy draw for Karmine Corp. UCAM have a very good bottom laner in Rafitta, who has doled out 35.2% of his team’s damage per Games of Legends. Also, jungler Hadess has been sharp with a 6.1 KDA on four different champions.
However, Karmine Corp has a top laner that can punish UCAM’s top laner Dreedy. Dreedy has a 1.8 KDA and a paltry 39.9% kill percentage, while Cabochard might be the most talented top laner in this competition. Cabochard has the potential to win his lane hard and really punish Dreedy.
Misfits Premier -370
Vodafone Giants +247
There is plenty of experience on Vodafone Giants. Attila and Kasing were in the LEC for a few splits, and Th3Antonio has been just a step below for the last few years. However, Attila is not as talented as he was in the past, and Kasing has fallen off too.
Meanwhile, Misfits Premier is one of the top teams left at EU Masters. Shlatan is arguably the best player in this tournament, and the jungler will have offers from much bigger teams at the end of the season. He has an 8.2 KDA and has been superb in team fights around objectives.
