2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 7 Betting Preview

It’s the penultimate week of the LCS Spring Split. Cloud9 and Team Liquid look like they will grab the top two seeds in the playoffs, and Team SoloMid is likely going to be eliminated from postseason contention. There are only four games separating third-place 100 Thieves from ninth-place Immortals though, so there is still a lot to be determined in the last two weeks of the season.
2022 League of Legends LCS Spring Split Week 7 Betting Odds
Evil Geniuses +121
100 Thieves -161
The defending LCS champions have won three straight games to move to 8-5 on the year. However, 100 Thieves haven’t been as impressive as we saw at the end of 2021, especially considering this team brought back its entire starting roster.
Evil Geniuses have been disappointing after a strong performance in the Lock-In Tournament, but they have a bottom lane that can take over with Danny. Inspired has been playing better in the jungle too, so that makes Evil Geniuses a tempting bet as an underdog in the first match on Sunday afternoon.
Dignitas -149
Golden Guardians +112
Although it’s been impressive to watch Golden Guardians build a competitive team from scratch over the last few years, they have started to fall apart in recent weeks. They have lost four straight matches and fell to other bottom tier teams like Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming in that stretch.
Dignitas fell to Golden Guardians earlier in the year, but they are deserved favorites in this match. River has been very good in the jungle, and the bottom lane has proven that they can compete with most of the top teams in the league.
Team Liquid -312
FlyQuest +222
Usually, it’s smart to avoid big favorites, but Team Liquid is definitely worth backing on Sunday at this price. They are the most talented team in the LCS, and they will only get better now that CoreJJ can play with the rest of the roster. There isn’t a single North American player on the roster, but their five players are all proven winners.
Counter Logic Gaming +356
Cloud9 -556
This game will test whether or not Counter Logic Gaming’s recent run is for real or not. CLG won both of their matches last week, and they now have victories over Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, and FlyQuest to their credit. Their stats aren’t great, but they have started to play well together.
Cloud9 are the best team in the LCS. C9 have won eight straight matches, and Fudge has played extremely well in the mid lane. Blaber is still an elite jungler, and Summit is currently leading the LCS MVP standings.
Immortals -135
Team SoloMid +102
If Team SoloMid are going to make it back to the playoffs, they need to win their last five games of the regular season and get some help. They are currently at the bottom of the LCS standings, and they are set to have their worst season in team history. CEO Andy Dinh said that he would never let TSM turn into what CLG has become at the start of the year, but that’s exactly where TSM are at right now.
