2022 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 2 Preview

The first week of the LCS Summer Split gave us plenty of surprises. While league favorites Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid both won all three of their games, Cloud9 went 0-3 and looked absolutely lost in the new meta. C9 and Dignitas are the two winless teams in the LCS going into Week 2, but there is no betting line on their match because both teams are rumored to be shaking things up. We do have betting odds available for the other four matches on Saturday though.

2022 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 2 Betting Odds at BetOnline

100 Thieves -294
Golden Guardians +211

The bottom lane has been surprisingly strong for 100 Thieves through the first week of the LCS Summer Split. FBI has a 12.6 KDA after deathless performances on Lucian and Ezreal, and he is dealing over 30% of his team’s damage. Ssumday showed that he can do more than play weak side tanks with his performance on Fiora, and he should be able to get the better of Golden Guardians’ Licorice in the top lane.

Golden Guardians have a very experienced bottom lane with Stixxay and Olleh. Neither player has elite mechanics at this point though, so 100 Thieves should be able to win this lane and take the game.

Team SoloMid +257
Team Liquid -370

Bjergsen will take on the team that he helped make in the most hyped match of this week. Bjergsen is the greatest player in LCS history and shocked everyone when he came out of retirement to join Team Liquid. He has showed us that he still has the mechanics and has yet to die this year as Liquid has clearly been the best team in the LCS.

Team SoloMid aren’t as bad as some people have made them out to be, but they aren’t going to be able to knock off Team Liquid. There will be value on TSM at other points though.

Evil Geniuses -526
Immortals +335

The defending LCS champions are off to a strong start this season, as Inspired continues to be the best jungler in the league. Inspired has a 13.3 KDA, and he has been able to help his lanes get ahead constantly. Meanwhile, Immortals are at a disadvantage because of the meta. Kenvi is a very inexperienced jungler, and PowerOfEvil is not a real difference maker if assassins aren’t prioritized in the meta.

FlyQuest -111
Counter Logic Gaming -119

Although Counter Logic Gaming are off to a 3-0 start, the oddsmakers have yet to really buy into CLG. Their wins came over Dignitas, Golden Guardians, and TSM, and none of those three teams is expected to finish top four.

Contractz has been strong in the jungle with a 10.7 KDA, and the bottom lane has been surprisingly decent. However, FlyQuest has a real difference maker in the mid lane with Toucouille, and a quality bottom lane. That makes FlyQuest the pick as only a slight underdog by the League of Legends betting odds.
