CRAZY NFL PARLAY: WEEK 10
If anything, last week was an aberration. We hit three out of seven on our Crazy Parlay, a career low at this point when I can regularly nail .500 without trying especially hard. But you know what that means? We’re due.
But we’re going to have to do it with some creativity. We’re not just sticking with moneylines this time, because the payoff was just too small. So what I have done is take some moneylines and over-unders to craft a massive payout that could pay off a good chunk of your mortgage for the price of a Venti Pumpkin Spice Vanilla Late with Oat Milk.
If this is the first time you’ve stumbled across the Crazy Parlay, here’s how it works. While I may describe it as purchasing a lottery ticket, we’re doing it with some inside knowledge of at least half the numbers. The NFL, especially over the last couple of weeks, has taken the “Any Given Sunday” mantra to the extreme. Thursday Night’s 22-10 Miami Dolphins win over the Baltimore Ravens did nothing to change that trend.
We are monetizing NFL entropy. We are harnessing the power of chaos and using it to buy a new bass boat.
Here is what I have hand selected for you this week:
Browns +113
Browns at Pats over 45 -115
Saints +125
Saints at Titans under 44 -115
Vikings +148
Vikings at Chargers over 53 -110
Seahawks +155
Seahawks at Packers under 49 -110
Eagles +125
Raiders +125
49ers +163
If you’ve already checked out my Friday Afternoon Quarterback picks column (and you should. Go ahead. We’ll be here when you get back), then you know that I already like the Cleveland Browns to knock off the New England Patriots outright and the score to be under 45. Same for the New Orleans Saints at Tennessee Titans under, the Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Chargers over and the Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers under.
If you checked my Sunday Night Football preview, then you know I didn’t pick the San Francisco 49ers to win over the visiting Los Angeles Rams, but did feel they’d keep the Rams from covering. But, as I explained in that article, it would hardly be an upset at this point as Kyle Shanahan is riding a four game win streak over the Rams and Jimmy Garopplo has never lost to them as a starter.
It’s the moneylines that are tricky, but we can talk ourselves into them. The Saints bring a similar defense as the Rams to the field and Tennessee scored all of 14 points against LA last week without the help of turnovers.
The Vikings nearly knocked off the Baltimore Ravens in overtime and have the personnel to score with the Chargers.
Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ playoff hopes are on the line Sunday and Aaron Rodgers hasn’t done so much as jog over the last two weeks.
No one knows what to expect out of the Philadelphia Eagles at any time and they’re facing a Denver Broncos team coming off a monster win, but that’s severely undermanned.
The Las Vegas Raiders knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs in their first meeting last season and that was when the Chiefs could actually score points.
A $10 winning parlay bet on these moneylines and over-unders pays $51,382.68.
