CRAZY NFL PARLAY: WEEK 6

BY ADAM GREENE

Our Crazy Parlay last week was shot right as it was entering the club, with the New York Jets faltering in London to start the day. But even that game was a close one. In fact, we either hit or were within a single score in every game but the New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys. Once Daniel Jones entered the concussion tent, that one was doomed.

What if that hadn’t happened? What if the Jets, WFT, Bengals, Browns and 49ers all got that one extra score? The fact that Washington, Cincy, Cleveland and San Fran all had a chance to win or tie the game in their final possession shouldn’t dishearten us, it should fuel us to keep trying. That Crazy Parlay hit is out there. Hell, let’s not forget that we were a single game away from nailing it in Week 3.

As always, here’s the disclaimer and it’s an important one. The point of the Crazy Parlay isn’t to just to pick the largest plus money lines, odds and over/unders. It’s to craft a series of events that could actually happen, harnessing the chaos of the NFL and the mantra of “Any Given Sunday” into its weaponized money making potential. We’re not throwing darts. We’re buying a lottery ticket with some inside knowledge on half the numbers.

Some of you, I know, use this to craft your own, less exotic parlays, and that’s fine. I get that. But think about how hard you’ll kick your own ass if all these hit like they nearly did three weeks ago.

Here’s what I’ve hand selected for you this week:

Jaguars +138

Panthers +117

Chargers +120

Lions +160

Cardinals +155

Raiders +173

Seahawks +195

Titans +205

As usual, if you’ve already read my Friday Afternoon Quarterback picks column, then you know that I think the Los Angeles Chargers will knock off the Baltimore Ravens and that the Las Vegas Raiders will reward their Gruden-ectomy with a win over the Denver Broncos.

So let’s talk ourselves into the rest of them. Jacksonville is a better team than their record and that’s pretty much all Urban Meyer’s fault. Could it be, facing either Jacoby Brissett or Tua Tagovailoa right off IR, that they could sneak and get a win an ocean away?

The Carolina Panthers started 3-0 and Sam Darnold had three of the best games of his career to do it. The potential is obviously there. What better time to show it at home against a mediocre Minnesota Vikings team?

Dan Campbell’s tears and the fact that they’ve come so close so many times recently could be all the push the Detroit Lions need to get over the hump against a Cincinnati Bengals team on the road with a banged up Joe Burrow.

The Arizona Cardinals are undefeated and have proven that not only can they storm ahead and keep a lead, but come back and take it when they need to. The Cleveland Browns haven’t shown that ability under Baker Mayfield and Kevin Stefanski.

And, lastly, the Bills won their own personal Super Bowl last Sunday knocking off the Kansas City Chiefs. This is prime position for a let down game against a Tennessee Titans squad that’s finally healthy for the first time in weeks.

A $10 parlay bet win on these moneylines pays $18,493.65
