Premiership Title Odds: 3-Team Race But City Slightly Favored
With 7 matches to go in the English Premier League, it’s down to the final three teams. No
disrespect to Tottenham and Aston Villa either Arsenal, Manchester City or Liverpool will win the
2024 title. A single point separates the teams and it could come down to the final week of the
season when Liverpool and Arsenal meet in their finale.
Manchester City +150
No surprise the defending champions are the favorites as they were from the beginning of the
season. They are seeking their fourth straight title and sixth in the last seven years. When you
look at their schedule the short odds make sense. Aside from matches against West Ham and
Tottenham, City will face competition that are ranked lower than tenth in the standings. The only
thing that could hurt City’s chances is the fact they are playing the Champions League, where
they are also favored to win, and also play a few club friendlies against European giants.
Upcoming Schedule
Luton Town (home)
Brighton and Hove Albion (away)
Nottingham Forest (away)
Wolverhampton Wanderers (home)
Fulham (away)
West Ham (home)
Tottenham Hotspur (away)
Arsenal +175
While they are the top, Arsenal’s upcoming matches aren’t as easy as City’s. The Gunners take
on several sides ranked ninth through 15th. Last year, they made a serious run only to fall short
and finish second. They’re hoping to avoid a repeat. Arsenal remains unbeaten in 2024,
winning 10 of their 11 matches, only dropping points in the draw with Man City. The worst part
of their schedule is having to face the fourth through sixth ranked teams in the table, which is far
from being easy.
Upcoming Schedule
Aston Villa (away)
Wolverhampton Wanderers (away)
Chelsea (home)
Tottenham Hotspur (away)
Bournemouth (home)
Manchester United (away)
Everton (home)
Liverpool +225
Liverpool also has games against teams ranked in the middle of the pack, ranked 11th through
15th. The Reds face a few teams still in contention for a Champions League spot (Aston Villa,
Tottenham) and another tough one against West Ham. A recent draw against Manchester
United did raise concerns but Liverpool doesn’t have much room for error the rest of the way.
Liverpool is hoping for the perfect send-off for Jurgen Klopp, who is moving on after this season.
Upcoming Schedule
Manchester United (away)
Crystal Palace (home)
Fulham (away)
