CRAZY NFL PARLAY: WEEK 11

BY ADAM GREENE

We’re going to have to get creative once again to build a proper Crazy Parlay. For the second week in a row, the moneylines just aren’t enticing enough in spite of the fact that we’ve had an incredible amount of upsets occur over the last three weeks.

The books have noticed too and, frankly, they’re getting a little stingy.

In spite of that, we were tantalizingly close last week, hitting on the six out of the 11 moneylines and over-unders we needed to cash in. It’s why so many of you use my Crazy Parlay suggestions to build your own, far less insane parlays. And, honestly, I’m flattered. I’ve seen some big wins out there and they warm my heart.

But, as Walter White said on Breaking Bad, We’re not in the money making business. We are in the empire building business and you will want to kick your own ass through the ceiling if one of these hits and you didn’t come along for the ride. We were one win away in Week 3 from an $11,000 payout. And, no, I’m not dropping it. That was an absolute fantastic ride that didn’t end until the final whistle on Monday Night Football.

If this is your first look at the Crazy Parlay, here’s how it works. I look over the spreads, moneylines and over-unders in a weekend of NFL action and pick the best of those to group together for the maximum payout. We are not just tossing a bean bag blindly at a corn hole. We are taking the NFL’s mantra of “Any Given Sunday” and monetizing it. We are harnessing chaos and entropy and attempting to turn it into a new SeaDoo watercraft.

Here are my selections for your wagering enjoyment this week:

Lions at Browns Under 43 (-110)

49ers at Jaguars Over 45 (-110)

Colts (+260

Colts at Bills Over 49.5 (-107)

Jets (+157)

Dolphins at Jets Under 44.5 (-110)

Washington Football Team +145

WFT at Panthers Over 43 (-108)

Ravens at Bears Under 44.5 (-110)

Vikings (-105)

If you, as you always should, have already checked out this week’s Friday Afternoon Quarterback then you know I like the Minnesota Vikings to upset the Green Bay Packers and all these over-unders line up exactly with my final score projections.

So really, all we have to talk ourselves into are two games that are relatively close to begin with.

Let’s start with the Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills. This is the same Bills team that lost 9-6 to the Jacksonville Jaguars two weeks ago. The last time they played a team as good as the Colts, they lost 34-31 to the Tennessee Titans.

As for the New York Jets, they’re starting former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco against an injured Tua Tagovailoa and a Miami Dolphins team maybe a little too high after knocking off the Baltimore Ravens a week ago. Plus, this Jets team is one of just two in the league that handed the Titans a loss.

A $10 bet on these monelines and over-unders pays $21,891.52.
