Well, that one hurt. If you’re a regular reader of the Crazy NFL Parlay then you know that we’ve v come close before, with three or so games, but we’ve experienced nothing like Week 3 of the 2021 NFL season. Last week, picking and grouping eight moneylines to get a payoff of more than $11,000, we fell one game short. And it was the last game of the week.
Yes, the Crazy Parlay I hand selected for you in Week 3 was a Philadelphia Eagles victory away from turning the price of a Biggie Double Baconatror Meal from Wendy’s into $11,303.39.
I’d like to say I don’t hold it against the Eagles, but I do. I take it personally. I don’t just manufacture these Crazy Parlays out of the blue. I’m not just throwing darts at moneylines. I’m legitimately trying to hit and this is the closest I’ve ever come. I have friends that lost a whole Hamilton on this bet that could have collected a down payment on a Tesla. That stung.
But, guess what. It’s a new week and, after coming so close, there’s no reason to think we can’t hit it again. Therefore, I have ventured through the apple orchard of moneylines to once again hand pick you a Crazy, but realistic, NFL Parlay that could land you a bass boat. I really want you to get it. I’m on team you.
Here’s what I’ve picked out for you this week:
Falcons +105
Lions +104
Vikings +113
Colts +125
Panthers +170
Seahawks +112
Broncos +100
Raiders +144
As I point out every week, If you’ve already read my Friday Afternoon Quarterback article, them you know I already like the Atlanta Falcons (+105) over the Washington Football Team, the Denver Broncos (+100) over the Baltimore Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks (+112) over the San Francisco 49ers. If you check out my Monday Night Football preview, then you know I’ve picked the Las Vegas Raiders (+144) to upset the Los Angeles Chargers.
Now we’ve got to convince ourselves to take the rest of these upsets, so let’s do it.
The Detroit Lions (+104) have been in every game they’ve played this year. While Jared Goff is 0-11 without Sean McVay as his head coach, that streak has to end sometime. Is it ridiculous to think it could come against Matt Nagy and the Chicago Bears? Especially with reports that Nagy might be fired if he loses this game?
In the FAQ I wrote about Kirk Cousins’ hot start to the year. If the Vikings (+113) had a better record, he’d be in the MVP conversation. Minnesota is one of the best home field advantages in the league. The Browns could drop this one and it mean nothing to their postseason plans.
Carson Wentz might be hurt, but he’s still better than Jacoby Brissett. If his ankles can stay attached, the Colts (+125) could definitely beat the Miami Dolphins.
As for the Panthers (+170), maybe they’re for real. And even if they’re not, Mike McCarthy is still the head coach for the Dallas Cowboys on the other side.
As we experienced last week, the close games make the payoff smaller, but still worth taking the chance.
A $10 parley bet win on these moneylines pays $6,576.38.
And that’ll pay for any Halloween party you want to throw.
