CRAZY NFL PARLAY: WEEK 7

BY ADAM GREENE

If you used my Crazy NFL Parlay suggestions last week to craft your own, chances are you hit something. Of the eight games I selected, four won, meaning the underdogs were victorious outright and the moneylines paid. If you picked the right four, you had a nice pile of cash coming to you Sunday night.

But we’re not here to just hit four of eight. We’re here to hit them all, just like we nearly did in Week 3. That Crazy Parlay is going to haunt me for a while.

Because, as I mention every week, I’m not just tossing darts at moneylines, point spreads and over-unders here. I’m an artist, crafting a Crazy Parlay as another would out of marble, oils or clay. I’m looking at the betting sheet and seeing the masterpiece within, trying to bring it out with my chisel and brush.

This is a tough week, with six teams on a bye so we’re down an option in our moneylines. I’ve selected just seven this time, because every other plus moneyline looked like a sure fire loss. We’re not tossing a wad of cash into a woodchipper here. We’re planting some magic beans and hoping for a giant beanstalk.

Here’s what I’ve artistically crafted for you this week:

Bengals +230

Giants +130

Titans +185

Dolphins +110

Eagles +130

Colts +175

Seahawks +192

If you’ve already checked out my Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football previews (and you should, go ahead, this column will still be here when you get back), then you know that I like the Indianapolis Colts to take down the San Francisco 49ers on the road and the Seattle Seahawks to hold off the New Orleans Saints at home.

It’s the other five games we’ll need to talk ourselves into.

The Baltimore Ravens have won five straight over the Cincinnati Bengals and Lamar Jackson himself has never lost to Cincy. That sounds like a streak that’s begging to be broken since the Bengals have their best team in a decade on the field.

The New York Giants are in complete disarray and Daniel Jones is coming off his worst game of the year. But, he’s played pretty great against bad teams and the Carolina Panthers are a pretty bad team.

I struggled to not pick the Tennessee Titans to upset the Kansas City Chiefs in my Friday Afternoon Quarterback column and, honestly, still don’t feel great about it. Derrick Henry could easily take over this game against one of the worst run defenses in the league.

Tua Tagovailoa already has his U-Haul packed in Miami, but what better way to escape South Beach than by beating an Atlanta Falcons team that seems to discover a new way to lose every Sunday?

And, finally, the Philadelphia Eagles are traveling to Las Vegas, a team high on winning last week without their cancerous old head coach. Jalen Hurts can make plays, they have some offensive weapons and this looks like a prime example of a let down trap game.

A $10 parlay bet win on these teams pays $8,379.76
