5 BEST EARLY PROP BETS FOR SUPER BOWL LX

Summary

The upcoming Super Bowl LX features a rematch between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. Early analysis suggests the game will be an offensive contest, not a defensive struggle, with both teams likely scoring at least 15 points and Seattle potentially reaching 30.

The best bets anticipate a close, high-scoring affair. The second half is projected to be the highest-scoring period, the game will likely see the score tied after 0-0, and the largest lead should stay under 14.5 points, indicating a competitive matchup decided late.

We’re a little more than a week away from the official end of the 2025-26 NFL season as the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots meet up in the Super Bowl for the second time. We had one potential new matchup (the Los Angeles Rams vs the Denver Broncos) on the table and multiple rematches, but this was the one the football fates chose to lay at our feet.

We’ll be diving deeper as we get closer to the game, but these are the five bets that jumped off the board early for me.

SUPER BOWL LX

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS VS NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (+5, O/U: 45.5)

5. ANY TEAM TO SCORE 30 OR MORE POINTS

Yes +110

No -140

I’m going off the rails early here because I feel like this game could very well be a solid offensive contest, if not a shootout. The Seahawks and Patriots both boast great defenses, but the best D-unit the Pats put on the field last week was the snow in Denver. Seattle gave up 27 points to the Los Angeles Rams and, if not for a fourth down stop in the end zone, could have given up more.

BEST BET: Yes +110

I think Seattle, at least, will cross the 30 mark. And it may come with a defensive score too as Drake Maye has been very generous with the ball in this Super Bowl run.

4. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 15 OR MORE POINTS

Yes +120

No -150

Man, does the book just think this game will be a stinker. I don’t see it that way. Seattle has been one of the two best teams in the NFL all season. They beat the other best team last week in the Rams to get to the Super Bowl. And they did it by letting Sam Darnold attack with the ball down the field.

BEST BET: Yes +120

This prop is all about a lack of faith in Sam Darnold. I think, in three playoff games and the end of the season stretch, he should have allayed all those fears by now. New England is going to hit some shot plays, looking at how the Rams were able to attack Seattle downfield. Josh McDaniels is a terrible head coach, but he is an elite offensive coordinator.

3. GAME TIED AGAIN AFTER 0-0

Yes -110

No -120

This one is very interesting as it’s banking on both teams either stumbling and barely doing anything early, trading some field goals, or both coming out hot.

BEST BET: Yes -110

Over the last 25 years, almost every Super Bowl has come down to the final minutes and we’ve even had two go into overtime. There’s a lot of nerves involved. Three out of the last six Super Bowls had tied scores at some point. I like our chances here of a 3-3 or 7-7 situation.

2. HIGHEST SCORING HALF

2nd Half -135

1st Half +115

Tie +2000

Now we’re talking. With how close the Super Bowls have been over the last couple of decades, they usually come down to the wire.

BEST BET: 2nd Half -135

Which means half No. 2 is where you want to put your money on this one. Though, I have to tell you, that +2000 on a tie does not look like something to completely ignore if you’re so inclined.

1. LARGEST LEAD

Over 14.5 Points +1-5

Under 14.5 Points -135

This is basically your bet if you think the game is going to be a blowout. I don’t know how anyone, looking at these two teams, would see that. Sure, the Seahawks have a significant roster advantage, but Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel has dealt with that all through the playoffs and he’s in the Super Bowl. All the talent may be on Seattle’s side, but all the coaching Super Bowl experience is with the Patriots.

BEST BET: Under 14.5 Points -135

This is an easy call. I think this will be a fun game with more scoring than the early totals project, but it’ll still be a close one.
