NFL 2026 Season Win Totals – 10 Teams Rank Highly With Double-Digit Win Totals

Summary

Following the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl 60 victory, BetOnline has released 2026 NFL season win totals. Ten teams, including the Seahawks, lead with an over/under of 10.5 wins. These projections will be a focus through the Scouting Combine and NFL Draft, with odds shifting as bettors take positions, especially around the defending champions.

Ten teams have new head coaches, including John Harbaugh with the Giants. Last season saw dramatic turnarounds under new leadership, like New England’s 10-win improvement. The full schedule release in mid-May will further shape betting discussions for the upcoming season.

Less than two weeks after the Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl 60 and fans fired on thousands of prop bets for the Big Game, NFL betting interest continues with BetOnline’s release of the 2026 NFL Season Win Totals. It’s no surprise that the Seahawks are at the top of the chart among the 10 teams that have an over/under season win total of 10.5 wins.

The NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis runs late February through the first few days of March, and player evaluation continues through the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, April 23-25. The offseason football discussion on betting is drawn to each team’s projected win total in 2026, and will really pick up in mid-May when NFL team schedules are released.

The season win totals can change, but usually not much. It’s the odds that adjust more on the over/under projection as respected bettors take a position on team win totals in the months ahead. That early movement often shapes NFL season win totals and Super Bowl futures odds, especially for defending champions drawing heavy preseason attention. The Super Bowl LX champion Seattle Seahawks host the opening night of Week 1 on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026.

Last season, the Bills (12.5), Ravens (11.5), and Chiefs (11.5) all had higher win totals than any of the teams heading into the 2026 season. So did the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles (11.5) in the NFC. The Bills won 12 games but not the division title following 5 straight seasons as AFC East champions. Buffalo still fired head coach Sean McDermott after 7 straight playoff appearances. The Ravens won 8 games to finish under .500 and fired John Harbaugh after 18 seasons in Baltimore, and he landed in New York as the Giants’ new coach. The Chiefs were a major disappointment with just 6 victories after winning 8 consecutive AFC West titles and double-digit wins each season. The Eagles won the NFC East again with 11 wins, but lost at home in the wild-card round to the San Francisco 49ers, who had an over/under win total of 10.5 wins last season and overcame the most injuries to still win 12 games and make the playoffs.

While NFL schedules are not released until mid-May, teams’ opponents are already determined for the 2026 season.

New Head Coaches

A total of 10 NFL teams hired new head coaches since the regular season ended.

  • Atlanta Falcons – Kevin Stefanski
  • Arizona Cardinals – Mike LaFleur
  • Baltimore Ravens – Jesse Minter
  • Buffalo Bills – Joe Brady
  • Cleveland Browns – Todd Monken
  • Las Vegas Raiders – Klint Kubiak
  • Miami Dolphins – Jeff Hafley
  • New York Giants – John Harbaugh
  • Pittsburgh Steelers – Mike McCarthy
  • Tennessee Titans – Robert Saleh

Last season, three teams made huge turnarounds under new head coaches. The New England Patriots went from 4 wins to 14 and an AFC East division title on their way to Super Bowl LX under Mike Vrabel. The Jacksonville Jaguars went from 4 wins to 13 and an AFC South division title under Liam Cohen. The Chicago Bears went from 5 wins to 11 and an NFC North division title under Ben Johnson.

Unfortunately, other teams with new head coaches last season were on the other end of victories. The New York Jets went from 5 wins to 3 under Aaron Glenn to secure the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Las Vegas Raiders dropped from 4 wins to 3 under Pete Carroll and now have the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft for new head coach Klint Kubiak. The other two head coaching changes last season saw the New Orleans Saints go from 5 wins to 6, but over their projected season win total under Kellen Moore. The Dallas Cowboys went from 7-10 to 7-9-1 for the same wins the past two seasons after last year’s change to Brian Schottenheimer.
