CRAZY NFL PARLAY: WEEK 15

Summary

This weekly Crazy NFL Parlay aims to turn a small bet into a huge payout by embracing the chaotic nature of football. The selections include several high-scoring game predictions and underdog victories, such as the Broncos beating the Packers and the Dolphins capitalizing on a weakened Steelers defense.

If all ten picks are correct, a $10 wager could return over $10,500. The rationale relies on specific game scenarios, like the Eagles taking out frustrations on the Raiders and the Lions-Rams matchup becoming a shootout, to justify the risky parlay.

Is that the Yuletide rolling in early, or is it just this week’s Crazy NFL Parlay? It could be both, and if we hit this thing, it can make paying for the first one a whole lot easier. How else can you turn the price of an airport Toblerone into a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R

If this is the first time you’ve stumbled upon the Crazy NFL Parlay, let me guide you through it as your betting sherpa. What we are doing here isn’t just counting on random chance. Make no mistake, if I could load up that Philip Rivers/Indianapolis Colts moneyline into this, I would. Nothing would make me happier than seeing Papaw knock off the surging Seattle Seahawks, but I don’t see it happening, which should make us all sad.

No, we are harnessing the chaotic nature of the sport we love. We’re taking the mantra of “Any Given Sunday” and monetizing it. I mention every week that entropy is the universe’s natural state. Let’s make some money off it.

Here’s what I’ve picked out to help with your holiday shopping;

Cardinals at Texans Over 42 (-110)

Raiders at Eagles Over 38.5 (-105)

Patriots -103

Chargers +226

Broncos +113

Saints +130

Lions at Rams Over 55 (-110)

Vikings +222

Dolphins +149

Dolphins at Steelers Over 41.5 (-110)

If you’ve read this week’s Friday Afternoon Quarterback (and you should, we’ll wait on you. It’s a hoot, as the kids definitely do not say), then you know I like all of these totals already and one of the upsets. I think that Jacoby Brissett, especially in garbage time, can push the Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans’ score past 42 in a loss. I feel as if the Philadelphia Eagles will want to take out all their recent frustrations, utilizing the scoreboard, on the Las Vegas Raiders.

I can easily see the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams game being a shootout that requires 30 or more points to win, and the Miami Dolphins will be bringing their offense and facing a shorthanded defense when they travel to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Lastly, I see the Denver Broncos making a statement in knocking off the favored Green Bay Packers in Mile High.

It’s the other games we have to talk ourselves into, so let’s get at it.

Considering the New England Patriots are playing at home and have already defeated the Buffalo Bills once, it’s not hard to see it happening again.

The Los Angeles Chargers could take this opportunity against a floundering Kansas City Chiefs team to wrap up their season for good and give Taylor Swift an early start on picking out her wedding placements.

The New Orleans Saints are surprisingly tough at home, and the Carolina Panthers are primed to stumble with a playoff spot sitting ripe for the taking.

And finally, the Dolphins can capitalize while facing a Steelers defense that is absent T.J. Watt after a freak dry needling injury that put him in the hospital, by keeping their own minuscule playoff hopes alive with a win.

A $10 on these moneylines and totals pays $10,503.74.Follow Adam Greene on Blue Sky @AdamGreene13, threads @adam.greene and Twitter @TheFirstMan
